Why did he have to share a room? Honestly, living alone would have greatly enthused Eli, but now he had to live with another person and now he had a high risk of touching them. He was still learning to control the power, but he didn't want to test out if it worked because it would take a while to find out if it did or if someone else was on their way to their death bed.
So, naturally, he'd have to avoid whoever was in the same dorm as him.
Eliza advanced toward the dorm rooms, looking around the campus through his sunglasses. It was dark because of them, but there hadn't been a pair of sunglasses that had a tint that you couldn't see. So he had to look like a real jerk by wearing sunglasses inside. Though, that did help people to dislike him more. That was definitely a plus to the minus of the dark. And then there was that people couldn't see his eyes.
He entered the hallway with the dorms and looked at the first number. Alright, his was a little ways away. He dragged his stuff down the hall toward where his dorm was. Hmm, maybe it was further than he thought. He kept going. Wow, this was stupid. Right as he was about to give up he spotted the room number set on the door to the room he'd be staying in.
He had a key, but he knocked anyway, thinking it more polite than just walking in a possibly startling the guy that might be inside. It was nice. Good, he still had some manners. He'd just have to be more rude to the actual guy.
