Wait? What room is it?

Great. Pario had done all the necessary stuff so that he could become an official student. Hooray for him. He wasn't really that happy about all of this, more nervous then anything. He was eventually going to get a roommate. He really hoped that he wouldn't have some really annoying person, or someone that he couldn't even talk to, even though he didn't talk much to people anyways. In reality, he didn't want a roommate. He already had his sister to keep him company, even though he wish he didn't. He just wanted to be alone. He knew though, no matter how hard he tried, that it would be impossible. He leaned on a wall and just stared at the ground.

Why did he have to share a room? Honestly, living alone would have greatly enthused Eli, but now he had to live with another person and now he had a high risk of touching them. He was still learning to control the power, but he didn't want to test out if it worked because it would take a while to find out if it did or if someone else was on their way to their death bed.

So, naturally, he'd have to avoid whoever was in the same dorm as him.

Eliza advanced toward the dorm rooms, looking around the campus through his sunglasses. It was dark because of them, but there hadn't been a pair of sunglasses that had a tint that you couldn't see. So he had to look like a real jerk by wearing sunglasses inside. Though, that did help people to dislike him more. That was definitely a plus to the minus of the dark. And then there was that people couldn't see his eyes.

He entered the hallway with the dorms and looked at the first number. Alright, his was a little ways away. He dragged his stuff down the hall toward where his dorm was. Hmm, maybe it was further than he thought. He kept going. Wow, this was stupid. Right as he was about to give up he spotted the room number set on the door to the room he'd be staying in.

He had a key, but he knocked anyway, thinking it more polite than just walking in a possibly startling the guy that might be inside. It was nice. Good, he still had some manners. He'd just have to be more rude to the actual guy.

Pario was still staring at the ground when he heard someone walk past him, then stop a few feet away. 'Was he looking for his room?' He slowly looked up to see who or what it was. It was a boy, he caught a glimpse of his front and saw that he was wearing sunglasses. How odd.

Go talk to him Pario, Acellyn teased. He didn't want to, but then he saw him knock on a door. Was he looking for someone? Or was he just being polite? Either way, Pario got up from leaning and walked a bit closer. He didn't want to talk, but he was sure that they were going to be roommates, or neighbors. He could tell by the numbers, though he didn't want to look at his number. "Hi." He said weakly.

The door hadn't opened yet, and Eli was wondering whether or not if he really had a roommate. He had mentally crossed his fingers that there had been a mistake. The door continued to remain closed as Eliza stood outside of it, but there was some weirdo standing nearby that seemed to want to talk.

He was approached by said oddball and looked toward him with a look of annoyed confusion. Not that you could tell through his sunglasses. The guy was about the same height as him and looked pretty normal from what he could see. But you obviously couldn't judge a book by its cover, so he was going to have to figure out if he was normal. Without seeming curious. In a nice way. Being curious in a nice way made him seem nice, and he wasn't and didn't want to seem like he was.

When he said hi, Eli scoffed and rolled his eyes. "What?" He asked in an annoyed tone while reaching for the key he had been given, seeing as his roommate wasn't showing up anytime soon. Well, he'd just have to set boundaries later when he got there. He didn't like when he had to wait on someone.

Pario didn't know why this dude was being so mean. Maybe he didn't want to have any friends, or maybe that was just his attitude. Was that his dorm room too? Pario looked down at the slip of paper that had his room number on it. Yep, it was his dorm. What was he supposed to say? Just tell him Pario. He took a deep breath and picked up his things. "I'm Pario." He smiled a bit as his new roommate got his keys out. "I'm your roommate."

Eliza didn't know how he appeared to be someone approachable by some random dude in the hallways. Honestly, did he look friendly? It was strange how many people he had run into and gotten into a conversation with. It was torture that he had to push off so many people who all got really mad at him for being so rude. He knew that it was all for good, but he was starting to ache inside because so many people would never talk to him again.

When the weirdo introduced himself and then told him they were roommates Eli huffed. He shoved his key into the lock and turned it. He rolled his eyes and head as he entered the room he'd be living in for the next few years. Great. He had to live with this guy.

He threw his bags onto the floor of his room once he'd found it and looked directly at the guy. "Don't bother me, kay?" He snapped, looking hard at him to make sure he got the point. He constantly forgot that he was wearing sunglasses. It would have been so intimidating if he had them off. The red eyes were quite intimidating.

What was his problem? Pario had no idea. He just hoped that he wasn't around a lot, because if he had nay dead friends or relatives, that were still guiding him, then he really didn't want this guy as a roommate. Okay, he had to stay away from him as much as possible, but they were roommates, they couldn't hide from each other forever. He picked up his things and headed for the dorm.

"Fine." Pario said as he entered the room. This was a great start to the new school, Pario may as well just run away if he was going to be pushed away. This was only one guy though, out of everyone here. There were also girls, but most of them got scared way too easily by his powers. "I'll stay away." She shook his head and sat on his bed.

It was a good thing this guy got the message. If he hadn't Eli would have been stuck in a room with someone who liked to talk. But instead he had to stay in a room with someone who understood when you should back down. Which was always good in a roommate. Especially one staying with him. Staying as far away as possible was a good idea.

Eliza smiled a tiny smile, nodded his head and simply muttered "good" when Pario said he was fine with staying away. He was unaware of the power Pario possessed and might have actually spent a little more time with him if he could see all the people he had killed.

He pulled off his gloves so that he could unpack easier, making sure Pario was nowhere nearby in case he accidentally got bumped or saw the red marks down his skin. He hated when people saw the marks, though they were obvious on his face most people didn't register they were there. However, it was very obvious they were on his hands. They seemed to pulse, almost like veins, except likely the radiation he controlled. And hated.

He started to pull out his things and pack them away, glancing at the door every once in a while to make sure Pario didn't come anywhere near him.

Pario didn't know what to do. He felt that there was something off about this guy, as if he was like him in a way. Maybe he had a lot of ghost following him? That had to be it. They was the only thing he could really pick up about people.

Go tell him Pario, tell him your powers, Acellyn whispered. He looked up and shook his head. What was he getting himself into? After he told his guy, his roommate, there was no turning back. Maybe he should wait a bit? No, he may as well get it over with. He got up from his bed, and walked a bit closer to where his roommate had gone. "I can see dead people." He paused. "And you have a lot following you."

Something being off about Eli was an understatement. But no one would ever need to know that. Everything about him was to be held back and no one could get to him. He'd already killed everyone he loved, there was no way he was going to risk killing another person. Even if he got control over his powers. He wasn't even sure of how to go about doing this! How was he supposed to learn to control his powers when he killed everything he touched? Risk killing someone just to learn how to control it? Not happening!

A he unpacked his things, he slowly stopped paying attention to whether Pario was nearby or not. He glared down at his hands for a second before carrying on his task and ignoring him. He hated looking at his body. It was evidence of what he was. And he was a monster.

Having spaced off so much, Eliza didn't notice Pario in his doorway until the guy spoke. Jumping nearly out of his skin, Eli pulled his gloves on hastily, only half paying attention to what he was saying until he said Eliza had loads of dead people following him. This made him freeze with one glove half on. He turned his head slowly to look at Pario. He stood straight and dropped his gloves, forgetting about the red marks that lost themselves in his sleeves. He turned his full body toward Pario.

"Huh?" Was all he said. Yeah, stupid, but it sort of didn't make sense. Well, okay, it made complete sense! Seeing dead people was an insanely amazing power! He would rather see peoples dead loved ones than have killed his own loved ones. "Y-you mean..." He stopped short and turned to his right and left and then spun in a full circle. "T-they're here?" He looked back at Pario, making a worried and sad face, holding back tears that had threatened to come long ago.
