[color=33ff99]"I would look good if you drew me with a snout and whiskers, hon,"[/color] She said, half-joking. She nodded. [color=33ff99]"It's good."[/color] She took the notepad and pen from him and studied him for a moment, then began drawing.
Five minutes later, Scarlet had finished a rough drawing of him. [color=33ff99]"I wish I could Color it in, but this is fine."[/color] She handed it to him after signing it like an actual artist.
Ivan grinned. "Excellent work, if you ignore the fact that you're awake at this hour." Ivan said, wagging a finger at Scarlet. He shut off the table lamp and climbed into bed. Normally he would stay up later, but apparently Scarlet would only go to bed if he did too.
Scarlet climbed in beside him, her gaze narrow. [color=33ff99]"It was only rough scetch. It could have been much better if I had taken the time."[/color] She yawned and rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes.
Ivan smiled, followed immediately by a yawn. "Goodnight." Ivan said sleepily, dropping into a deep sleep. The events of that night had taken quite a bit out of him.
The next morning Scarlet woke up, not immediately opening her eyes. When she did, she stared up at the high ceiling and wondered where she was and why she was there. When it hit her, along with all that had happened the day before, she smiled happily through her still foggy mind and looked over to see if Ivan was there or up already.
Ivan was still sound asleep. Dreams melded together into a tapestry of peace. There was no up or down. There was no here or there. There was only the dreams.
Ivan woke up, more drowsy than usual. It was as though the all-too-soft bed held him in the land of dreams. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and yawned. After some time, he was aware of a slight weight on his chest, which he soon discovered was his wife laying on him. He gave a large grin filled with love. "Good morning, lovely!" He said, waking up completely.
