Scarlet beamed at the limo. To tell the truth, she'd never been in one before. Excitement ran through her and she grinned widely at Charlie.

Charlie loaded the couple's baggage into the trunk and grinned. Over the past month he had fallen into a sort of unfeeling state; He would put on a happy fascade for his customers, but in truth he had been toying with the thought of suicide to end the monotony. Of course rational thought had always crushed this notion, but it was a recurring thought. Now, driving for this couple, he saw a few similarities between himself and the husband (Evan was it?), especially compared to the snobby businessmen he was used to transporting. "Things are looking up. I can feel it." He said under his breath, opening the door for Ivan and Scarlet to climb into the spacious passenger area.

Ivan held out a hand to help Scarlet in. He glanced at their driver, Charlie, and identified genuine excitement rather than a happy face for business.

Scarlet took Ivan's hand and slid into the large vehicle. She looked around and stared in shock at the television and other things it had in it. "Wow." She murmured.

Ivan climbed in after Scarlet. Charlie shut the door and got into the front seat to grip the wheel. For the first time in ages, he was enjoying his job. "So." He began, pulling out of the parking lot. "You two must be here on business." He joked. Ivan chuckled before translating the statement for Scarlet.

Scarlet grinned and spoke with her mind, Oh, yes, Charlie. Very boring business, unfortunately. I'd like to apologize in advance for any trouble my husband causes you. If he gets too much to handle, just tell me and I'll straighten him out. It was, of course, all a joke. Scarlet was not aware that her mind had said that loud enough that Ivan was able to hear it.

Ivan grinned, laying back in his seat. Charlie laughed, but stopped abruptly as his expression went blank. "Did... Did you just...?" He shook his head. "Nah. It's my imagination."

Scarlet saw her husband's grin and her face flamed as she realized he must have heard her. The driver had been faced in such a direction, Scarlet was able to read what he said by watching the rear-view mirror. She shook her head. No. I can speak without moving my mouth. She smiled at him before situating herself to lean against Ivan's arm.

Charlie's mind locked up for a moment. Speak without moving her lips? Amazing. As his mind overcame this, he could think clearly again. Now he knew that his clients were more unique than he first expected. Soon he pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant Ivan had booked an appointment for. "Here we are!" Charlie declared. "Fine dining awaits." He climbed out and opened the door for the couple.

Scarlet climbed out and looked at the elegant restaurant. "This looks nice," She commented, still standing in the limo doorway.

Ivan nodded. "Of course it is. Surely you expected nothing less." He answered, grinning.

"Enjoy your dinner!" Charlie said cheerfully, getting back into the front seat to wait.
