"Of course." Ivan answered, withdrawing a pack of gum from the bag. Soon the plane would be leaving, but for the moment they were moving into position and waiting for clearance.

Scarlet took te pack of gum and slipped a piece into her mouth. She would be grateful for it as they rose in climate, for it would help to clear her ears. [color=33ff99]"How long until we take off?"[/color]

"Not much longer." He answered. Soon the plane sped down the path before taking to the air. That was always one of Ivan's favorite parts.

Scarlet watched out the window as the ground got farther and farther beneath them. She gropped around and found Ivan's hand and intertwined their fingers together. She was so busy watching the outside that she didn't hear a stuwardess ask if she wanted something to drink.

Ivan tapped Scarlet on the shoulder. "Would you like something to drink, dear?" He asked, gesturing to the stewardess.

Scarlet watched what he said then with a smile, nodded. [color=33ff99]"Soda would be nice."[/color] The lady handed Scarlet a can of Pepsi after opening it for her.

Ivan leaned back in his seat, enjoying the flight. From his bag of snacks he withdrew a pack of pistachioes. More than the destination, Ivan enjoyed that Scarlet was there as well.

Scarlet quietly drank her soda, and when the sterwardess came back with food, she passed. Most of the time, her gaze was directed out the airplane window. But the rest of the time it was trained on her husband. For some reason she was still trying to get it in her head that she was married to this wonderful person.

Unlike Scarlet, Ivan eagerly accepted the offered meal; He rather enjoyed the taste of airplane food due to the atmosphere that he ate it in. He remembered flying to Manta Carlos Island with his parents and friends with first-class tickets. It was all thanks to his father's rather impressive fortune that he could afford to treat Scarlet the way she deserved to be treated.
