Ivan ran through a few calculations in his head. He vaguley wondered how old Scarlet was, but didn't dwell on it. "In any case, you must have come along way to get here. Can I get you anything?" After all, Ivan WAS the host...

Jake smiled. Without invitation he headed over to the couch and sat down. "A soda?"

[color=33ff99]"I'll go get it."[/color] She left to the kitchen. As she was gone she remembered that all of her clothes was still at her dorm room at the academy. She laughed softly and headed back to the living room.

Ivan was at a loss for words; For the first time in quite some time, he was unsure of what to do next. His mother would be there soon. She'd probably give him a nudge in the right direction. He found himself wondering why Scarlet was in a bathrobe rather than getting dressed after breakfast.

(forgot she still had robe on. XD)

Scarlet handed Jake the soda and sat down next to him. Jake commented about how nice the house was, but she didn't see his mouth, so she didn't know he had spoken. Her thoughts were lost on what still needed to be finished before two o'clock.

"Nice of you to notice." Ivan responded, referring to the compliment about the house. "Building it was a team effort."

"Who did you build it with?"

Scarlet stood silently and went to the bedroom to get dressed in clothes--she would put her dress on after lunch.

"My friends. They don't live around here. They'll be at the wedding though." Ivan explained. He worried about Scarlet, noticing that she was rather quiet.

Thoughts ran through her head. Nervous thoughts, thoughts about whether the two men were getting along, and the one she was mos troubled about: If she should ask Jake to walk her down the isle.

Once dressed, she combed her hair again and headed out to the living room.

The front door opened and a woman ran in. "There you are! It's been so long since I saw you." She quickly gave Ivan a hug before turning to look at his company. "And this must be Scarlet!" She announced, approaching Ivan's fiance. Ivan smiled. He knew his mother was overjoyed about his the wedding.
