Ignoring both Ivan and the wolves, the man monuvered around Ivan and knelt down next to Scarlet and craddled her hand, patting it gently. "Scarlet," he said, "Wake up. Come on, girl. Wake up."

Even though she couldn't hear what he had said, she could sense his presence. Scarlet's eyes opened slowly, then swallowing hard, she blinked. She then sat up very quickly and wrapped her arms tightly around the man's neck, and he hugged her back.

After five minutes, Scarlet pulled back, tears in her eyes. The man stood, held out a hand to her and helped her stand. Once they were both up, he slipped an arm around her.

Slightly embarrassed because of her tears and the confused look on Ivan's face, Scarlet sighed. [color=33ff99]"Ivan, dear....this is my brother."[/color]

The man grinned and nodded at him. "Perfectly fine. And actually, I'm not really her brother. Foster brother. I'm ten years older than her." He gazed down at her. "In fact, I haven't seen her in almost ten years. She's changed a lot."

Scarlet grinned at him. [color=33ff99]"So have you."[/color] She looked over at Ivan and smiled softly at him. [color=33ff99]"Sorry I hadn't told you."[/color]

The man blinked. "W-wedding?"

Scarlet dropped her gaze for a moment before nodding. [color=33ff99]"That's what he said, Jake. Wedding. You know, like where two people get married."[/color]

Jake rolled his eyes. "I know what a wedding is, Scarly." He thought a moment. "When is it?"

Ignoring his question, Jake looked between them both. "Should I be worried about the age difference?"

Scarlet rolled her eyes and shoved him. [color=33ff99]"Shut up. You and Sara are eight years apart."[/color] Leaving Jake's side, she moved over to Ivan, expaining, [color=33ff99]"Sara's his girlfriend. They've been going out for almost my whole life."[/color]
