Scarlet smiled happily. "Alright." She took a sip of the soup. "This is good!" Unintentionally she sounded surprised at this.

Ivan's expression changed. It went from one of joy to one of love. "I should hope it is; I thought of you while I was cooking, and as the expression goes: Flowers smell sweeter when planted by one who loves you." Yes, Ivan had finally pinpointed the name of that strange feeling Scarlet gave him; It was love.

Sarlet's head tilted to the side in a dreamy way and she smiled slightly at him. She herself hadn't yet come to realize she was in love with Ivan, but she deffinately knew she liked him an awful lot. "Yep, you're a poet. I think you should write a book. And then dedicate it to me, of course," she said vainly with a grin.

Ivan responded with a light chuckle and a "We'll see." <That's not such a bad idea...> Ivan thought, for the first time actually considering writing a book. He had unknowingly eaten most of his sandwich while gazing at Scarlet. A bluebird sang nearby, complementing the way Ivan felt with its carefree song.

Scarlet finished up her fish and then looked at the rest of the food still on her plate. "I'm not sure if I'll be able to eat this all or not, Ivan. I may be tall...but I have a small stomach." She laughed slightly and finished her soup.

"Sorry. I guess I got a bit carried away." Ivan apoligized. His sandwich was nowhere to be seen now, and his soup was mostly gone. He went ahead and finished it off before starting on his fish.

Scarlet shook her head. "That's fine. I can just put it in the fridge and have it for a snack later." She took a drink of her water(hope that's what they're dinking).

(Close enough. It was supposed to be tea.)

Ivan had eaten everything that he had given to himself, and gulped down his tea. "Take some time to relax. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to let me know." With that said, Ivan picked up his dishes and neatly put them in the dishwasher before picking up a moist washcloth and starting to clean the table. He loved having company over.

((Oops. ))

Scarlet stood and planted a quick kiss on his cheek. "I'm going to go watch TV, okay?" She headed into the living room and using the remote, turned it on. She turned it to some chick flick, and stretched out on the couch. Being almost six feet long, she took up most of the space. She had just gotten into the plot line of the movie when she fell asleep.

Ivan had finished washing the table. The kiss from Scarlet had put him in an even better mood. To express this, he put on a hat, picked up his guitar, tip-toed up to Scarlet to put a blanket over her, and then tip-toed out the door to avoid waking her up. He played his guitar on a stump in the woods for quite some time. A large group of squirrels and rabbits had gathered to watch. Looking up, Ivan judged that it was about time to go home and get started on dinner, so he rushed back. When he got home, Scarlet was still asleep. He couldn't bring himself to wake her up, so instead he started on dinner. The house was filled with a scent even greater than before as Ivan cooked up a very special dish for dinner.
