It was frustrating how chases such as this one was almost an everyday issue, even in Manta Carlos. While Eros was already so used to this mess, chases always did exhaust him, and sometimes, he's just too tired to keep on running. Too tired to keep on hiding. He just wanted to sleep.
He made it back to the dormitory somehow, but he was pretty sure there was still a person or two on his tail, and he was pretty sure he's confused himself in these hallways and... well, he was lost. It didn't help that he's been in the academy for only a couple of weeks, and he hasn't tried roaming around without not having to hide from people. Nor did it help that he still couldn't meet with a spell caster with appropriate spells that can fix his glasses.
Eros was walking in a hallway. The sun wasn't so high in the sky, and the hallways were pretty empty, maybe most people were away or were in their own rooms. But there were other steps somewhere, and they were following him. Quickly as he picked them up, he started to look for an empty room where he can hide. Twisting knobs of doors of silent rooms. And then one opened.
He let out a sharp breath and pushed himself in. He needed to come inside, just for a moment, just to lose those people following him. And then he closed the door behind him. The room seemed empty, thankfully, so with a sigh, he slid down to the floor, his back against the wood.
