Training

Cordelia was pleased when he got knocked back. He was going to get his ego turned down a few notches — or removed completely — and she was going to be the one to do it. Maybe then he would lighten up, get some compassion, and realize what was in front of him in life and learn to be happy for once instead of always striving for something more and setting aside the ones that cared.

The elongated blade did hit her, but not enough to cause major damage. Her leg was bleeding, but she wasn't going to give up. She ran at Jira again, slashing her blade for his waist.

Cordelia pulled her blade out of him quickly as his hand came toward her. She put the sword in front of his hand and narrowed her eyes, her free hand going to grab his throat. Suffocation was always fun!

Even if she was beyond angry with him now, she still cared deep down. But, right now wasn't the time to go into mother mode.

Cordelia grit her teeth when he moved out of the way that fast. She stood hunched over for a moment, looking at him and his blade. She didn't want to be the one to rush in and start this again, but if she was fast enough then she could be on offense instead of defense. Plus... he didn't know how to use a sword.

She ran at him in super speed, aiming a stab right for his chest.

Cordelia was, indeed, going way too fast to stop. Her blade met his and slided right off of it because of its diagonal position. Her shoulder was wounded after running into it, but it was only making her angrier. And as some people around this academy knew, the angrier she got, the less she played around.

She jumped back and swung again for Jira, this time combining both her super speed and strength. She wanted to end this as soon as possible with Jira injured badly so he knew who his superiors were.

A low growl was growing in Cordelia's throat as she kept an eye on what he was doing. There was no way she was going to lose this. No way.

Though humans may not have been able to see the slashes, her vampiric eye and greater senses had seen and heard the slashes as Cordelia blocked them all, though on the last one her sword slipped slightly. She simply fixed it by tightening her grip and going at him, slashing as fast and as hard as she could as many times as possible.
