The woman walked out through the trees, looking as cruel as ever. Red droplets fell from her long, pale fingers, and a few of the same hue fell from her emotionless lips. The only thing that could really show how much anger she had pent up at the moment, how much hatred, how much sorrow, were her eyes. The commanding, dark blue orbs seemed lost and confused. Even so, her disposition clearly stated not to deal with her. This vampire wasn't in one of her pitiful moods, but instead one of her worst.

She had actually gone on a killing spree earlier, and now she was coming here because she couldn't bear the thought of going home. Not when she was in this mood... not when she didn't have her son's glowing smile to see anymore... not when all of her efforts to just be happy were failing...

Cordelia Brooks finally sat down on rather large rock, sweeping her black trench coat to hang behind her. There was a new rip in the collar that she would have to try to sew. Black hair was hanging loosely, like it most often was.

She finally sighed, wiping her hands off on her pants. Humans were too easy... though it was fun to take her anger out with killing them, sometimes she needed an actual fight, not just some simple kill.

Jira was near a large cliff away from eveything and doing something with his blood, and oil...he was experimenting slowly turning into a scientist wondering since blood was a liquid what he could combine with it and how it would effect it...he held what looked like a lighter under his blood to heaten it up...if he could only figure out a way to hold the heat he could make just the touch of his blood dangerous! But he had no knowledge of how to yet.

Cordelia thought she smelled blood a bit away. After killing a few people and still having the scent on her, of course she would know it. The twenty-year-old stood up, walking toward it.

Upon seeing Jira, the woman snorted. She folded her arms over her chest, watching what he was doing. "Must I continuously babysit you, Mister Mad Scientist?" she questioned.

"Shouldn't you be looking after your kids instead of going on daily killing sprees?" He said not knowing of the death of Suna nor really caring when he would find out, there were superstitions around ressurections they die shortly after or something bad happens.

Jira had such a way of cutting people down when they didn't need it. "Why bother to watch something that isn't around anymore?" Cordelia questioned him in a tone that was mostly void of emotion, except for a rigid hint of hatred. It wasn't a hatred for him, though... just for what had happened to her son. "Though I could ask why you're not watching after your own family, too."

Jira had no emotion in his voice. "They are not my family." He said without restrain thats how he viewed them nothing but pawns to him, Catherine was sweet and innocent enough so that no one would suspect her. Alex would be able to hold her own in a fight meaning he would have to shed less blood from the weak and have the real fights for himself, Nyuu was another innocent one making it appear as they were just a family and nothing more Soahc was just forced on him but that only added to the fact of them being a family

An eyebrow rose somewhat. "Riiiiight," Cordelia said in disbelief. "Then what are they to you, Jira?" she asked him. How could he tolerate them living with him if they weren't family? If they weren't dear to him, then there was no reason to keep them around. If it was the truth, though, she would feel especially bad for the poor kids.

"Pawns, tools, you pick a good term." He said with a smirk like he really did mean it when he said it though then going back to his blood and trying to figure out a way to rise its temperature quick enough...maybe if Ava made him other weapons...like a sword that's heat can cut through a blade...he was sure that it would work, though he would need these weapons soon for the war. But he had no idea how to use them...he looked at a new blade at his side...no idea how to use it but he took it off one of the dead men that had tried to kill him...it was long and dexterious and made for quick and brutal cuts though a samurai was no match for him

Cordelia snorted and laughed cruelly. "And what could the mighty Jira possibly need pawns for?" she questioned, walking closer to him. He was powerful enough, and she was sure he didn't really need two children, a clueless fox-girl, and an elementalist like Alexel to be doing dirty work for him. "Besides, pawns are replaceable, are they not? Yet you still save their lives whenever they're in trouble and can't do it themselves." She snorted. He said one thing, but all the evidence clearly stated something else. "Yeah, they're tools alright. Totally makes sense, what with every action you make."

"Tell me something have you ever seen me kill so far? Anything weak since that last mission? Catherine has killed Alexiel has killed I have not, I have been preparing for that war, as for that cat I have yet to find a valid use but by all means if you want me to throw her out because of it I will." He said with a smirk showing how heartless he was he only kept her so far since she was quiet and didn't really disturb him.
