"I'm.....y'know, I'm dealing with it," he'd shrug, "life goes on, so I gotta try and keep going too." He'd scratch his cheek, "and there's ways dealing with it, I'll be ok." Lucan would pet the small raptor, "I was thinking of getting a small one, like this little guy, as a pet actually, they're pretty smart."

He'd look over at Xarrah and her regalia, "yeah be careful," he'd walk towards them, the small raptor following. "The raptor following me is small but it's actually grown, don't pet anything you know is a baby, the mom might come after us." Him and Brasputin could transport them back in an emergency but he'd rather avoid that situation.

Lucan glanced around at everything, "so yeah let's be careful," the little raptor bounced from foot to foot, looking at the other dinosaur who despite being a baby was bigger than him.

He'd blink in surprise when she hugged him, he couldn't remember her ever hugging him, he'd return it with a small chuckle. "Thanks, you're my best friend. And yeah it hasn't been great, but I'll be ok," he'd scratch the back of his head, "I'm looking things up that can fix the problem."

Lucan watched as his friend and her regalia started to look for souvenirs, hard to imagine where they were. He looked down at the tiny raptor which was now rubbing it's head against his leg. "Surely you're friendly enough to take home," leaning down he'd gently pet the creature which would make happy chirping sounds.

"Hey Xarrah, what do you think of the name Izzie for him?" he'd feed the little raptor another piece of jerky, "he seems to like me....or she...I'm not sure what they are."

"You'd doom me to such a cruel existence?" he'd ask with a chuckle that was perhaps a little nervous. "You worry to much Xarrah," he'd tell her, sticking his tongue out at her, "what'd you even think I meant?"

Leaning down he'd pet the small feathered raptor, running his hands gently down their back. "If they had eggs they wouldn't be all friendly, it'd probably hiss and try to make us go away."

Noticing a tooth he'd pick it up and hand it to Xarrah. "Plenty of small souvenirs for us to take home," he'd glance around, the ancient world so weird, much more alien than he'd expected.
