To The Past And Back Again 2

Lucan checked the time as he waited for Xarrah to arrive, they were taking a trip to the past. It was going to be his second time jump, this time going even further back. He'd scratch his cheek and put his phone away, humming a little as he waited.

He'd grin a bit when Xarrah finally popped up, "you're late lightning bug," he'd say teasingly. "Us keeping the dinosaurs waiting...they'll be so annoyed," he'd chuckle and step over to her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Ok, let's go," then they'd time jump, but they didn't seem to move, instead everything around them seemed to. Everything seemed to fade away and be replaced by trees and even animals. Finally they stood on top of hill, overlooking a valley that was filled with various species of dinosaurs grazing on grass.

"Whoa...," Lucan looked down at everything, genuinely speechless for a moment, "well were here."

While Lucan transported Xarrah his time regalia transported her regalia, with them both joining their partners in the past.

"We can look around yeah," his time regalia looked over the area and stepped besides Lucan. "Keep in mind though the dinosaurs can see and interact with us.....and potentially eat us if they decide to," said the time regalia, the more experienced time traveler explained.

Lucan nodded in agreement, "so yeah, we just gotta be careful, keep an eye out in case...and you keep your nose sharp for anything dangerous." He'd look out at the dinosaurs, smiling at the sight, "it's amazing."

"Nothing going on with me really," his regalia, Brasputin stayed within seeing distance but gave the two friends space to talk as the group explored. "Just you know....same old same old," he'd look up, watching a flock of small pterodactyls fly past, "well....same old plus time traveling."

A small dinosaur scurried between trees should of them, coveted in colorful it'd watch them from the branches. It's head tilting curiously as the two visitors walked past, it'd start to follow via the tree branches.

"Yeah I'm fine," being outed as a demon had shaken him, and the holy water incident had added to that. He didn't like being half demon, he'd never had, "uh...how are you? You and James doing good?"

"She didn't out me.....it was an accident," he'd say, trying to focus on the jungle around them, on the small dinosaurs they occasionally see. "She was talking to a demon kid...whispering...and some people with enhanced hearing heard, wasn't her fault."

He'd stop, looking up at the tiny dinosaur, it'd lower it's head and make some friendly chirping sounds before jumping up and down playfully. Lucan snorted and continued his walk with Xarrah, the little raptor seemed friendly enough.

"It would've gotten out eventually anyways," he'd stop briefly to look at a strange plant, making sure not to touch it.

"I'm fine," he'd say, though he wasn't sure if he was, "it is what it is....and y'know..I'll figure it out." He had ideas on how to deal with it all, early ideas, things he may or may not go through with, "I'll be ok." He'd give her a smils, stopping and picking up a tooth be saw and handing it to her.

He'd look back at the tiny raptor like dinosaur that continued to follow them. It'd hop down and scurry over to Lucan, sniffing his leg and chirping. "Friendly little thing," he'd pull a bit of jerky from his bag and offer it a piece, it's take it and quickly eat it.

"Looks like we made a friend," he'd say with a small chuckle, the small dinosaur would continue to make happy chirping sounds at them.
