Once again, there was silence as she tried to think of what else she could say to him. Her last words hung in the air for a while as she thought, a nervous twisting in her stomach. "There was one bad thing out of all the good things..." she said, her voice so quiet it was barely audible. She hoped the mention of that wouldn't wreck everything. "You were really the first friend that I had here. Like I already said, it'll probably be hard to mend everything... but that's what friends do... they have their ups, their downs, but in the end, they always end up coming back together and mending everything." She stopped for a moment so he could absorb all that, and then she went on.

"So... I'm sorry, for all the things I've done that might have annoyed you or that maybe weren't the greatest things to do... and I'm sorry for all the things Adelina did, too," she said. She would say anything that came to mind now if she thought it might help... she was truly that desperate. She didn't want to lose him as her friend, since what she said had been true. She knew a few people here, but not many, and Tsim was really the only person here besides her family that she trusted.

Tsim just could not decide anymore...he thought being with her was bad what if he really hurts her or makes her sick...he really did belive it was all his fault and he doubting that made him think he was now selfish that he couldn't belive he was the one when he really was...

"And, you know, I kind of know how you feel with not wanting to see me..." October told him honestly. "My sister-in-law, Dani, got sick and died, and I blamed myself for it. If she had lived, though, I wouldn't have wanted to face her either." She paused, wondering if this would even do anything. "But people can't hide from each other for their whole lives. I don't blame you in the slightest for what happened to me. I just want us to be friends again... there were so many good times, and I just think that there'll be more in the future if we can just at least try to put this stuff behind us...." She paused, then laughed at what she said next. "And, yes, I do realize that I'm being slightly repetitive."

Tsim heard she had accidentally killed someone...it was very sad yes...but she did understand...he got out from his hiding spot his white eyes did not regain that curiosity and innocence and maybe never return...

October turned and looked at him. So he was finally showing himself to her? She smiled softly, glad that he wasn't running anymore. She then looked down. "So... are we made up? For the most part, at least, I mean..." she asked quietly, almost as if she was afraid to be asking that.

He said nothing as he always would but made no body movements...however he would do noting and would not let her touch him...he trusted nothing he did he thought it would only cause more problems including the death of anyone else around her

Nothing... absolutely nothing. No words, no movement... no nothing. October turned her eyes back up and just looked at him, no words coming for her to say. She just didn't know what she could do... he had spoken earlier, and now he was showing himself to her. She didn't know if it was improvement or if it wasn't... but at least he wasn't insane anymore as Adelina had said he was.

"If I try to talk to you some other time are you going to make me chase you again?" she asked quietly, not to be rude, but just out of wonder.

He shook his head and something he hadn't done in months...he smiled at her...it was a light one but it was impressive to see Tsim finally happy after everything that had happened

October was relieved when he shook his head, and joy came over her when he smiled. He had actually smiled... even if it wasn't big, it was a smile all the same, and she returned it. The young girl could tell that he was happy, and she was glad for that. "Are we friends again?" she asked, just wanting to make sure before she jumped to conclusions.

He nodded slowly not wanting to be touched still since he thought he caused a lot of the problems that everyone was dealing with even though he wasn't there
