The ceiling? Oh, no, October wouldn't be able to get to him! A few silent tears rolled down her cheeks and she looked at him, noticing his eyes. "You don't have to be alone..." she told him, unable to look at him as she spoke and continuing to climb. "I know you've been through a lot, I have too. But you know what, you're the only person who's causing yourself to be alone. And of all people... why are you pushing ME away?" There was obvious pain in her voice as she asked that question, but she still didn't look at him as she continued up the rock side. She knew he wouldn't respond, but hopefully, just hopefully, her words might get to him.

He... spoke? He spoke! October grinned and more tears came from her eyes when she heard his voice. Even if it sounded broken, to her, it was beautiful. "It was never you," she told him. "I still would have gotten sick on that mountain. I was there before you were, remember? It wasn't because we went higher up or because of the dragon.... and even if it was you, I don't care. You had never intended for it to happen, so why should I bother blaming you?" At this time she looked at him, wondering if he would speak again in response or not.

Silence again. That was alright. October wasn't going to forget that voice anytime soon. The female noticed he was going up to the second level, and she really didn't know what she could do. What could her powers do to help?

As she reached a hand up to grab the next rock, an idea came to mind, and she figured it was worth trying. She turned slightly, a stream of ice coming out of her hand that reached up to the entrance to the second level. She let it freeze in the air, then started running on it... thank goodness her shoes were made for sticking to ice. She climbed up to the second level just as the last bit of ice crumbled beneath her feet, and she looked down for a moment before she started running for Tsim.

Can't he just stop running like some sort of coward and face me?! the thirteen year old thought to herself with a sigh. All the running, climbing, and use of her powers was really quite tiring, but she would keep it up until she managed to reach him.

Tsim already hid himself behind pillars changing them quickly...he couldn't let her come near him...who knows what might 'accidently happen again...he just couldn't take the risk anymore...

October sighed inwardly. Even after what she said about it not being his fault, he wouldn't come out. That was fine, though, since he was probably just convinced that he had done this to her. "I know you're hurt, Tsim," she said. "But talking and working this out isn't going to cause either of us any harm. What could it possibly do?"

The girl was silent for a few moments, trying to figure out what to say. She couldn't be pushy or too lenient, if that was even the right word. "I know things have changed..." she said. "I know we've grown older, I know that things have happened... that we've done things that we probably regret..." Her thoughts flashed back to Dani and she went silent for a few moments. "And I know the fact that I'm here probably isn't making you happy. I just thought that maybe now that I'm completely healed we could try and be friends again... even if it's hard... because running from each other is just becoming slightly childish, and we aren't children anymore. We have to grow up and face things at some point, right?" And it was now that she finally stopped.

October sighed, thinking that she was probably just being repetitive. She most likely wouldn't help him at all in the end, but even so, being the person she was, she had to at least try, even if it turned out she had made things worse.

Tsim said nothing and only sat where he was...he was confused and terrified of what might happen...but longed for a friend he could call a friend nothing fake...he gritted his teeth in confusion...
