To draw or not to draw?

Disappointed, she did as he asked. She understood why he asked, but guess she had gotten a little carried away. Slowly, the vines retracted back into the walls were they had "sprouted" from. The light came back, and everything was normal. Well, as normal as it could get at a school of this kind.

She finally finished Archie's painting. Good likeness, it had Archie in the middle, arms extended, with a small lily in one corner, Enelya's face in another, and his lady-lizard friend in the other, making small symbols of Archie's life stand out, like a collage. She was really proud of herself, and Archie was estatic. At the bottom, she wrote, in the most careful scipt, "Archimedes, My Dear Friend, and Brother."

She turned it around so Kotah could get a good look. "What do you think?"

"What do you think?"

He smiled. "It's wonderful. Next time, maybe you could try what I was talking about..." He grabbed his sketchpad and showed her the pencil again. "How the opposing colors make it jump out with subtle use. It really does look fabulous, though." He waited a minute before going back to his blood coloring.

Enelya beamed, she loved finishing a piece, you can never tell how its going to look while your working on it, but this one really did come out nice.

"Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to find a frame somewhere on this huge campus... Know where I could find one?"

Enelya beamed and he smiled.

"Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to find a frame somewhere on this huge campus... Know where I could find one?"

"No idea. Aside from where I've been with you... I've been in my dorm. We could go look, though." He closed his sketchbook. "Besides, I could use some fresh air." He stood up and started putting his stuff away.

Enelya smiled, she loved how willing he was to fix her problem. She gently rolled up the painting, after giving it time to dry, and put it into a cardboard tube, and put the plastic cap on it. She slung her bag over her shoulder and gave Kotah a playful nudge as they walked out the door together.

"Where are we gonna look first?" she said, stopping after just stepping out of the threshold, giving Kotah room to exit too.

He nudged her right back. "Well, I was thinking we could stop by the library and ask them if the Academy has a store. Besides, I need to renew this book and grab another while I'm at it. I forgot to pick it up last time we were there." He walked on beside her, his bag slung over a shoulder.

She laughed, "Alright! Sounds like a plan to me! Back to where we first met. You know its funny, I haven't really known you that long, but it seems like we've been childhood friends, like, I've known you for an eternity. Is that wierd, or what?" She gave him a goofy grin, and stuck out her tongue. Archie mimicked her and she tickled his cheek.

Kotah tilted his head sideways as she spoke, realizing this was very true. He didn't respond right away, but still replied with, "Huh... you're absolutely right. Not sure how weird it is, cause it's kinda cool." He nudged her when she stuck out her tongue, and when Archimedes mimicked her, he said, "You know, maybe you will get to see my rah! face sometime soon." He poked a finger at the lizard with a goofy glare.

She looked up at him, and gave him a small smile. "It is cool, I think it's funny how some people just become like this," she crossed her middle and pointer fingers, "quicker than lightning! It's like we were almost meant to know eachother. Like it was fate or something."

"You know, maybe you will get to see my rah! face sometime soon." He poked a finger at the lizard with a goofy glare.

Enelya laughed at his goofy face, and then looked over to Archie, "Ooh, ya see that Archie? You better watch yourself." Enelya giggled and pretended to pinch Archimedes' cheeks. He squirmed away into her purse, since the outfit she was wearing, a long, pale green skirt, flowing, with a sky blue blouse, with lighter faded flower prints, had no pockets.

Ember was sitting down by her drawing, seeing if it was missing anything. She finsihed with the shading as well as all of the coloring. Then she realized it. She had forgotten about putting the name on the grave. Picking up a thin pieve of charcol, Ember carefully wrote across the grave stone in which the girl was sitting on, "R.I.P. Drea Thorn" in creepy gothic styled leters. There!

She looked over to Enelya and Kotah, who had been talking for quite some time together. She got up and walked over to them, bringing her art with her. "So, i finished, and I wanted to know what you guys think..."
