To draw or not to draw?

Enelya laughed musically. His face was hysterical! "Did you see what that young man just did?! Scared Archie half to death!" she smirked, "I bet you didn't with your nose almost attached to you paper. Can I see?"

She smiled, and started detailing the back linings of Archie's scales, and putting accents in the background, which consisted of his new lizardess-friend, who Enelya later learned was named Clemintine. Oh my darlin', Clemintine.

"I bet you didn't with your nose almost attached to you paper. Can I see?"

He glared at her with a really goofy angry face. Sticking his tongue out at her, he put his nose closer to the sketchpad and grabbed his pencil. After a minute or so, he turned it around so she could see. He had done a sketch in the corner of Enelya's face with exagerated expressions of anger and a taking-charge-look. Kotah calls it a "RAH! Face."

Enelya bursted out laughing, almost falling off her stool.

"Great likeness!"

Even Archie crawled out of her pocket to see all what all the commotion was about. He started squeaking rapidly.

"So, since you've never seen me mad, is that how you would imagine me with a 'RAH' face?!" She laughed again.

"Great likeness!"

He grinned as he looked between Enelya and the little sketch.

"I think you should make your RAH Face just to make sure." He laughed.

He turned the sketchpad back around and started working on it again, but not sticking it against his nose.

"I think you should make your RAH Face just to make sure."

Enelya laughed, and decided to be a little more than over-exaggerated. "You sure? I hear I can make a pretty mean RAH face!"

Without waiting for a reply, she put her arms up, squinched her face together, opening her mouth and showing her teeth, then, thorns shot up out of the ground and hovered over her like claws, adding to the 'RAH' effect.

He started with a grin, but it vanished when his eyebrows shot up at the thorns that came out of nowhere. He set the sketchpad in his lap and aplauded. "The best RAH Face, ever!" He picked up his work with a laugh.

"The best RAH Face, ever!"

Enelya laughed. Archie, on the table again, shook his head in embarrassment. The thorns went away, and Enelya smiled.

"I have mastered the art of the RAH face! What about your RAH face Mr. Kotah?" She walked over to his sketch, and compaired her real RAH face, and the one he'd predicted, it really wasn't much different, surprisingly.

"What about your RAH face Mr. Kotah?"

He looked up and back at her from where he sat. "It's really scarey," he said in an exagerated serious tone. "Really, really scarey. It's even better with a low light sorce." He nodded solemnly.

Enelya raised an eyebrow, and swirled her finger upwards. Vines came and braided along the florecent lights in the ceiling, dimming the art room.

"Give me your best shot." she winked.

Kotah looked around, uncertain. "Enelya... We're in an art class. Fix the lighting and I'll show you later, ok?" He followed with an apology to the other students and went back to his work. Peeking over his sketchpad, he gave Enelya an "I'm-sorry" look.
