So, my guy Marcus is due for a power update, and with the upgrade approved for threading, all i need is for an unwilling target to walk into Marcus' Book. It's not permanent, as the title suggests, with unwilling people easily being taken out after a while, just enough for Marcus to panic and learn about his new ability.

....So I've wanted to do a plot like this forever.

I would really, really love to throw Lochlann into this. It could even work well as a follow-up to our current thread, if you're interested in that!

If you're looking for something a bit different I understand completely, but figured I'd jump in on this just in case.

Awesomecakes! I got the alert and I slipped in a response during lunch, so thanks a bunch!

Also I figured I'd ask here for plotting: is this a specific book? Should I be aware of anything in particular OOC to help make Lochlann react better IC?

like was said, it only happens with a certain book, and in the thread, it was described as having blank pages. So, just in case this was what you were asking, it'd just be an endless expanse of white. if other things were added, they'd be a great distance apart, but still there.

EDIT: By the way, how would Lochlann be absorbed by the book? It has to be in contact with his torso for 5-6 seconds in order to work, plus Marcus has to be holding it. Any ideas?

I also posted in the thread before I saw the edit here, so please forgive me.

Well, Lochlann is generally inebriated so he doesn't always walk a straight line.

I could have him stumble and tumble forward towards the bench and Marcus could instinctively put out a hand to stop Lochlann from falling right ontop of him...which would lead Lochlann's abdomen to be pressed right against the book?

Would this work or too silly?

that might work. It does sound silly, but there is nothing wrong with that, just makes it something we can look back on and cringe about in the years to come.

I want you to know I've sat here for hours now trying to think of a twenty-word caption for Lochlann. Let's just grab this from his profile. It'll fuck Lochlann up if he finds out Marcus knows anything about him.

Lochlann is a real lady killer: tall, dark, and armed with a sharp smile.

No, seriously, Lochlann eats women.
