The very moment after her visit to the garden, Elizabeth headed straight for the gardening shop to buy Rosalie the big pot she said she'd get her. The shop was near the academy, and it was the only place outside the campus she knew how to go to and come back from without getting lost. She got her a clay plot and some rich organic black soil, and headed back to the campus carrying the items, plus the now-empty watering can she was idiotic enough to not put away before making another trip.

So Rosalie had to stay on her shoulder and hold tight on her own during their trip back.

"Rosalie, are you alright?" she glanced at the precious little flower on her shoulder as they entered the academy.

Oh, this was so amazing! Rosalie balanced herself on Elizabeth's shoulder while the girl walked back to the academy, wiggling a little to keep herself steady. "Yep!" the tiny Flori replied. "It's so big up here! Do you see things like this all the time?"

It was, indeed, very very big for the little creature who saw the world from only a few inches off the ground. She was so lucky, though, to have found someone big like Elizabeth to take her home and care for her! Rosalie wouldn't have lasted very long out in the open by herself.

She eyed the objects that Elizabeth carried before watching a car go by. Cars, she'd learned, were big things that people rode around in to get to far away places much faster. Rosalie wanted to go in a car some time! It sounded like a lot of fun to go very fast.

Elizabeth laughed. Rosalie was like a curious and very observant child that was seeing the world for the first time-- Actually she really was one. And Elizabeth couldn't help but find this innocent wonder so adorable. "Maybe, Rosalie," she answered, "but your eyes are smaller than mine, so you'd probably find everything else still bigger."

Soon enough they've made their way into the high school dormitory, a structure made completely of concrete unlike the gardens where Rosalie had come from. Elizabeth stopped in front of a door at the second floor eventually, unlocked it after a click, and entered.

"We've arrived!"

It was a small room for two, though half of the room that was for another person was still empty, save for an empty wardrobe and a bare bed. Elizabeth put the pot by the window and poured the soil on it. She picked Rosalie up and put her down on the windowsill beside the pot. She opened the window to let some fresh air in. "What do you think of my room, Rosalie? It's not much, but I hope it's enough."

Rosalie considered this. She supposed that Elizabeth had a point; because Rosalie was so small compared to everything else, she did indeed find everything to be much bigger than Elizabeth probably did. Or maybe it was because this world was just so big, and Rosalie was normal sized? Well, technically she was, for a Flori.

The little plant watched from Elizabeth's shoulder as they approached a big building and went inside. She climbed down from Elizabeth's hand and onto the sill, looking out at the world as the window was opened. "It's really nice!" she exclaimed with excitement, then looked over at the pot that the girl had prepared for her. Using her arms and roots, she clambered into it, and dug her roots into the fresh soil with a contented "Ahhhh." Rosalie wiggled happily. "Thank you, Elizabeth! I think I am going to be very happy and safe here." The little Flori smiled brightly. No risk of being stepped on here! She was happy to have made such a good friend.

Elizabeth giggled. She's lost count of how many times she's already thought Rosalie adorable, and yet it's only been a few hours since they met, technically. She was glad most of all that the little flower loved her pot. Elizabeth quickly grabbed a smaller can filled with water from the adjacent kitchen room and came back to offer it. "Let's give the soil some moisture, okay?" she asked, before pouring some water, just enough to dampen the soil, and put the can down beside it. "Oh, hold on."

She scurried to the kitchen once more and back, having grabbed a clean rag to place under Rosalie's pot and over the entire windowsill.

"There. Now we don't have to worry about scattering soil everywhere. What I mean is, you're free to come home and leave anytime you please, Rosalie. Although I would really appreciate it if you let me know beforehand so I won't worry. Okay?"

Elizabeth took a couple of steps back as if to zoom out and get a better look at her view of the windowsill. She pursed her lips and hummed thoughtfully. "I think we have a bit of a problem, Rosalie. Any ideas on how you can go up and down from there on your own?"

Now with water, the soil felt amazing. Rosalie's roots happily soaked up the nutrients and moisture, leaving some for later. She didn't have to worry about getting enough water now! She trusted Elizabeth to take good care of her. She aimed her flower-hand towards the open window, where the delicious sunlight was streaming in, photosynthesizing.

"Okay!" she agreed, of course she would let Elizabeth know if she was going to go anywhere. She didn't want her friend to worry.

Rosalie looked back at Elizabeth and her brow furrowed a little in thought as she considered the problem that the girl had identified. "Hmm," she looked around, peering over the edge of the pot. She could get out of that easily enough, but she was rather high off the ground, with no easy way to get down. "Maybe a ladder or something?"

"A ladder?" Elizabeth continued to stare at the problem area, tilting her head left and right in thought. "That could work, but sadly I don't have one."

She finally broke her stare and went closer once again, offering her hand to Rosalie on the rag beside the pot, palm open and facing upwards. "We can get some spare wood or unused ladder from the academy storage, perhaps. We can ask from the staff. Do you want to go with me?"

After this, Elizabeth would quickly rush outside and back outdoors. The storage she meant was near the main gate of the academy, which meant they would once again have to walk around for minutes, and that meant more exploration for the little flower.

"Yeah!" Rosalie pried herself from where she was rooted in the dirt, gently shaking the soil from her many roots before clambering carefully down the pot and onto Elizabeth's hand. Another adventure already! This was turning out to be quite a productive first day for the little Flori. A new friend, a new home...life was already going so well for her!

Rosalie kept herself balanced on Elizabeth's hand while the girl walked her around to some other part of the campus. She looked around from her perch with excitement in her eyes, wiggling a little. This was cool! She was already seeing so much of this giant world she lived in. Wow!
