"Oh, no...I...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON'T"

Allen laughed at the operatic voice. Well, if she could do that kind of a voice, then he would do his rock music scream. Oh, yes. "Yes, you.... WWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!"

Boy, that had felt good. He took a breath, laughing again. Rock screams were so much fun to do! He was glad the artists of today had invented it!

"You have such a great way of cheering people up."

He shrugged. "Would you have rathered I lied? Said that life was going to get better? Then after a while, you would go through life, see that it wasn't all that good, look back, and see that I lied to you. Is that what you would have wanted?" he questioned.

"Yes, you.... WWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!"

Odette raised an eyebrow. She wasn't used to that sort of thing. "Talented." She commented. She took a deep breath. "Oh, no, I wo-OH-oh-oh-OHHHH-OHHHHH-on't!" She said, singing opera.

"Would you have rathered I lied? Said that life was going to get better? Then after a while, you would go through life, see that it wasn't all that good, look back, and see that I lied to you. Is that what you would have wanted?"

"I suppose not." Odette replied. "Has it really been so bad for you?"

Allen smirked when she called him talented. He loved singing this kind of thing. He smirked at her opera.... he could do that too. He would keep with the rock screaming, though. "Yes you..." He took a deep breath.

"WWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!"

He started coughing after that. Blah, now his throat hurt. He wasn't used to doing this often.

"Has it really been so bad for you?"

Allen snorted. "Do chickens have lips?" he asked. It was a slightly stupid question in his opinion. He had been alive almost one-thousand years and she thought it would be all bad for him... ha.

Odette laughed when he coughed. "Truce?" She asked. Her throat was a little scratchy too. Plus she didn't want to listen to his rock-screams.

Odette blinked. "They do?" She asked.

Odette smiled. "For now." She repeated. They were actually being nice again. What was WRONG WITH HER!?

"Why? I mean, what made it bad? I know being immortal isn't exactly good, living for ever, but still." She said. "Nevermind. I'm too nosy."

Allen nearly gagged. Why was he being nice to her? She had wrecked a precious guitar and yet here he was, having one of those cute arguments with her. It reminded him of a long time ago with Esme... and it wasn't something he wanted to remember.

His eye twitched when she asked him about his past. "That is absolutely NONE of your business," Allen hissed. "Not in the slightest. Now where's your dorm?" he asked, trying to change the subject.

"I said I was sorry! You don't have to get so offended!" Odette retorted angrily. There. That was more like it.

"It's the first one on the right." She told him. She wanted to get away from him as fast as possible. She didn't like being nice, but she just couldn't help it.

Brown eyes narrowed. "Well I am offended," he asked. "Learn to keep your nose out of other peoples business. Maybe then some other people will help you walk around instead of me. I have more important things to do than make sure a fragile little girl makes it back to her dorm in one piece." Alright, so he really didn't. But she didn't know that.

Oh, it felt good to be mean again.

As soon as she saw the door, he walked faster until they were right outside of it. "Well, here you are. Can I go yet or are you going to force me to stay for tea?"

"You didn't have to help me!" Odette yelled at him. "And I'm not a fragile little girl..." She had a sudden idea. It would be so hard for her to do it, but she could pull it off.

"Well, here you are. Can I go yet or are you going to force me to stay for tea?"

She took his hand. "Of course not. But I think I'd better go to the nurse and have her look at my ankle. You'll go with me, won't you?" If he kept insisting that she was fragile and vulnerable, he was going to get fragile and vulnerable.
