Since coming to the Academy, Lumis has often gotten an oppurtunity to enjoy the feeling of serenity. He loved the outdoors, and on this day he wondered if there was a place to find peace within himself once again. On this day, he figured that he should take some time among himself to go for another stroll. But where could he possibly find a place to relax, he thought. He wanted to try something new today. He wandered about until he came across a beach. Great. So he decided to stay there for now. Lumis walked to the shore to examine the vast water. It appeared to be clean, though it actually wasn't.
He looked around to analyze his surroundings. Nobody around. He began to relieve himself of his gear, a plain white long sleeved dress shirt, dark colored slacks. He slowly proceeded, drawing himself closer to the water. A good time to let himself go, he thought. He kicked off his sneakers and dipped his feet in the surface to test the water's temperature. It was cool, yet salty, but just right for him. With that, he began to relax himself. He then shifted his body weight, allowing himself to fall flat on the ground. There he stood hoping that he wouldn't be disturbed.
Lumis laid lifelessly on the ground while contemplating on what to do next. He felt the cool sensation of the water at his feet periodically engulfing them as if he were being sucked into quicksand. He looked up into the sky. What a glorious scenery he thought. He was bored and he needed something to do to pass the time. After several minutes of serenity, he sat up on the ground for a yawn and a sigh. He thought carefully as his natural red eyes wandered about. There were an abundance of trees around him, a good place to workout, he thought.
He gently pulled his feet out of the water, his legs a bit wet now. He walked over to where he had left his belongings. He quickly slipped on his shirt, pants and shoes. He looked around once more at the green in front of him. An idea had come on. A light bulb would flash above his head if it were humanly possible. He would indeed take this time for a workout. He approaced a nearby tree, then retreated a few steps back. His body had now begun to change. He had shifted into the form of an alley cat, the kind of cat you would normally see on the streets. Quickly he raced toward the tree then ascended up the trunk. He gracefully landed on the highest branch of the tree, then began to jump from tree to tree hoping to pass the time with a few laps around the area.
