Evie didn't really remember what time she arrived.
She vaguely remembered hearing about this little gathering from someone on campus, though she doesn't really remember when. Her days kind of blurred together lately. She'd get up, eat, attend class, drink, maybe hook up, pass out. Rinse, repeat, for weeks. The fine details tended to get lost in the rotation.
She remembered drifting into the venue, how the place smelled of sweat and booze like most parties she attended. She remembered someone passed her a cup.
She was far too plastered to remember anything she'd really started doing after that point.
She'd collapsed onto one of those foldable lawn chairs, whole body sagging as if her bones had turned to jelly, laughing hysterically at something that no one had said. She was a mess, completely and utterly, and other party goers around her were starting to give her looks.
