'Vlad no! NO NO NO NO NO! She is a STUDENT.'

Vlad's spell book was open and before her as she bit into her thumb she spoke something low under her breath as she heard Nixis scream within her mind. As the blood droplet fell it vanished and the wound on her thumb healed.

Zen would feel herself entangled with many writhing thick black tentacles.. In a hentai style fashion.. Minus the penetration. It was lewd yet effective as they brought her back to her seat and held her in place.

"It is time I introduced myself. My name is Vlad. I used to go by a false surname called Coup de'gace. It was a false front to protect my mother and my father.. And finally my young daughter. I am a ranked assassin from my world we were never hired. We were hunted like creatures in the night for the thrill of the hunt. Me and my team.. I was the longest living of us all.. No matter what I did I could not protect my team.. Because ultimately it was my family that needed me more."

She looked up to Zen and made eye contact, she had an idea of why the girl was so skittish and Vlad could slap herself from how foolish she was.

"In my time as an Assassin I learned many things. Such as to see magic and to speak and read all language including Celestial the language of the angels all the way to Terran the language of the earth. I came here as a refugee for a better life. For myself and my children."

Clearing her throat a bit she stood up straighter. Clasped her hands before her, the wriggling tentacles still refusing to allow Zen free.

"With this in mind. Effects and spells if used against me will not tolerated. I will not cast spells in this room without being provoked. So, I do not want spells cast here. Lying and respect are obvious things that a small pinch of common sense will lead you in the correct path. Mr. Sebastion if you wouldnt mind telling us about yourself? And then Ms. Le-kzen who decided to try and skip out of class."

Sebastian sat up in his chair and watched as the magic unfolded in front of his eyes, one second the classmate was up and ready to leave next second she was back in her seat being held down by what seemed to be tentacles. Looking back at the teacher Sebastian had many questions, so this was the power of the necromancy teacher.

Sebastian began to tap his fingers on the table, he was anxious as to what else the teacher could do was she human or was she a monster? He couldn't comment though because he was a monster, he was one of those monsters that the humans had stories about. But seeing such things unfold before his eyes was something far worse than the stories and urban legends that he heard before coming here.

The teacher introduced her self before turning to Sebastian, so she was from another world. Taking a deep breath he stood up, "My Name is Sebastian, my parents are dead. I'm here... Because I don't belong anywhere else." He sat back down and waited for the class to continue, these others might have been in touch with what they were but Sebastian wasn't. Looking at the other three students in couldn't believe that they knew how he felt or what he had been through, in a place like this they were the normal ones. Sebastian was only here because he didn't know where else to go.

Rosetta felt bad for Sebastian. His parents were dead just like hers. She never realized this, but maybe there were actually people here that were like her? Some may had it better or worse.

She couldn't help to remember the event that happened ten years ago. Yes, her parents were murdered.

Brutally.

And after their treatment, she walked in on him... the one who murdered them. He just chuckled when she got there, and then started to laugh like a maniac. She remembers him approaching her, step by step, closer and closer, and she knows he wanted to kill her. The guy wore a mask, but she knew he wanted to. She could just tell.

However, when police sirens started to sound like they were getting close (probably someone heard her parents' screams. That's why she came because she heard them) he left. He just said "Don't think this is the end," and took out a match, lit it, and set her parents on fire.

Then he left. Not to be seen again.

Luckily she was saved by authorities, only recieving a few burns, thank goodness. However it wouldn't have mattered if she burned all over and had major wounds; nothing would compare to the wound that will forever be in her heart.

When her parents were taken away from her.

Rosetta didn't realize that while she was thinking about the event, she was bawling in front of the whole class.

Le-kzen's breathing was coming out in short bursts. She had a contingency plan for this. Her spells did not require any hand movements. She could control Vlad's blood, but that would be a moot point if it went haywire and she didn't have backup.

She texted her brother.

[ Ardos Ta'driz ]

Ardos got a text of a location.

Nothing else.

He sprung to his feet and exited his classroom with no warning, unsheathing his sword as he ran. He knew the drill. She needed him there soon. She didn't specify what for, but he knew it had to be something dangerous. When he got to the door, he found it was surprisingly open.

At first glance, he was greeted to a regular classroom setting, which made him embarrassed and want to apologize for everybody inside for the dramatic entrance. But upon closer inspection, it... was an absolute trainwreck. There was a girl crying.

Zen was bound to a chair.

Ardos' embarrassment turned into fury, and he saw the woman they ran from in the classroom. Zen was right. She really was out to get them, and she was shameless enough that she'd do it in front of all these people.

"If you want a fight, fight fair," Ardos said, practically growling. He gave Vlad a sharp glare as he rushed to Zen's side, and before Zen could warn her poor, stupid brother not to stab this kind of spell, the tentacles went ahead and entangled him too. His sword fell to the ground with a loud clang.

This was an absolute disaster.

Zen slammed her head on the table.

The look of utter surprise on Vlads face at seeing Ardos barge in before getting entangled made her expression dead pan. Bringing a hand up to her face she took a deep breath in and leg it out. Her skin began to glow with a soft light which extended from her very skin and began reaching out slightly.. It was warmth. A calming warmth. As if everything was going to be alright. It was her aura extended through out the classroom.

Standing once more she walked forward and wrapped her arms around Rosetta and pulled her closer allowing the younger female to rest her head on her. Her voice was soft as she did her best to comfort the young girl in her arms.

"I have lost loved ones as well. The two skeletons in the black of my classroom.. One is of my friend. Tok. The other.. The other I am still mourning. His name was Malkar. He was my lover and the father of the child I carry. It was my fault for not saving them. I would give anything to bring them back."

She allowed her voice to trail off slowly, allowing Rose to take as long as she needed. Once Rosetta pulls out of her arms she walked over to the pair of Drows and sat down curiously her grimoire floating over to her. Lifting her hand she forced Ardos into a chair before the tentacles bound him to it. From the rafters in the room a vulture sized bird flew down and took his sword and then perched back up there and out of the way his sword in its beak.

"Now then. The three of us are going to ignore that I have a class to teach and we are going to speak plainly to each other. I will not let the two of you go until something is said and I am content with the answer."

Reaching up she took her glasses off and watched zen like a hawk.

"Le-kzen. I can see magic. If you try to cast anything further from this point it will only serve to anger me. Now then. Speak."

Le-kzen struggled against her bonds. Her expression was a stark contrast to her usual demeanor and, indeed, her overly cutesy way of dressing — it was a sharp glare, more characteristic of a cutthroat drow Matriarch than a harmless teenage girl. Her hands were becoming energized with raw entropy magic, ready to suck in Vlad's energy at a moment's notice.

Ardos was the one ready to step down. He listened to Vlad's story. Unlike Zen, he internalized the words. Maybe he was just a bad drow, too soft and foolish like their Matron used to say, but that sort of story... it didn't really sound like something she'd just make up, especially since she had the bones to prove it.

"Miss, please release us," Ardos said, in a voice softer and more earnest than usual. Le-kzen threw him a sharp glare as if telling him to back down, he had no say in this and he listened to her orders, not the other way around. But Ardos remembered what she said when they were on that boat, looking at the small island of Manta Carlos. She held his hand and said:

Brother, we're not bound to the rules of the city anymore.

They made drastic changes to their lives.

And while Ardos liked deferring to Zen's decision, this was just outright stupid. He had to do something for her own good, and face her wrath when they were both safe.

"We'll talk when you release us. I'll make sure Zen doesn't do anything."

Wesker turned to watch everything unfold, his hands steepling into an almost diabolical fashion, his smile positively giddy. Perhaps he hadn't been wrong to take this class after all, it was certainly much more interesting then any of the others he'd attended. His expression became rather confused as Rosetta began crying next to him though. He might have stepped in before long if Vlad hadn't intercepted her. Oh well, that would be something to investigate later.

The spider turned to look at Le'kzen, fixing his eyes on her form. He knew her name, and that she had cast magic at some point. He hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary, something subtle then? What would she do now? What was her relation to this strange swordsman? He was talking now too, either trying to be devious or accepting their defeat. Wesker chuckled a little bit, his eyes shining with curiosity. come now miss Le'kzen, won't you play the game..?

Rosetta wiped the tears from her eyes with her sleeve. Her cheeks now held a bright red color because she was so embarassed. She'd never had thought she'd cry in front of the whole class, especially on her first day of classes. What also made it worse was that she did it in front of Wesker, who might ask about it later.

"Miss, please release us,"

Two other students were bound by the teacher, Vlad, and she couldn't help but think how much of a hot mess this class was. People were crying, people were being bound to chairs, etc.

Rosetta sighed and turned her attention to the clock on the wall, watching it tick and tick closer till dismissal.

Vlad's features were calm and smoothed out as if this was something that would not phase her in the slightest. Her eyes trained firmly on Zen's. Casters were all the same before grinning a bit she tapped one of the leather strips she wore around her wrists. It was enchanted that prevented her from being harmed from negative energy and energy drain. As an adventurer she was always prepared teaching unruly teens was nothing compared to combat casting.

When Ardos spoke she looked at him intently as she stood slowly and nodded. "Understand that I am an officer for the Juvie Island. Attacking a teacher would be counted as an abuse of your power. On a different world things are different. Because you asked this in earnest I will heed your request. Do not tempt me ire. As a teacher I swore to keep my students safe. But most importantly I swore to keep myself safe."

Using the middle claw on both of her hands she stabbed it into her palms and then as a droplet tricked down she touched the tentacles biding them they dissolved into nothingness. Sitting back down she motioned her head for Ardos to speak. Her grimoire in her lap and her fingers laced atop of it.

"Speak Ardos. Le-kzen you as well if you feel the need to impart some input."

Vladahlia looked to the younger elf waiting for either of them do do anything. "Once again Ms. Le-kzen I can see the aura of magic."

They were free.

Le-kzen readied herself to attack. Instead of a flurry of entropy magic destroying all the electricity in the room, Le-kzen was slammed against the wall by Ardos. She hissed, thrashing against his restraint, but Ardos' grip was strong. After ineffective clawing and kicking, Le-kzen tired out and grabbed Ardos by the front of the shirt.

"Stand down, brother," she said, practically hissing, venom dripping from every word. Back in the drow city, Ardos would have agreed without so much as a protest, but this was different. Let Le-kzen hate him. He didn't care.

"No, you stand down. Honor our word."

"Your word. I agreed to none of this!"

"For once, let me handle this, please." Ardos kissed her on the cheek and moved his lips to her ear, whispering, "If I find she's as dangerous as you think, I'll give the signal and we'll kill her together."

That calmed her down. For the moment. It was enough. Ardos lowered Le-kzen to the ground, where she crossed her arms and looked away. Ardos approached Vlad and nodded.

"I apologize for the earlier commotion," Ardos said, voice low enough so only him and Vlad could hear. "You wish for the context of her ire. Let me explain."

Ardos straightened his posture, holding his hands behind him. "My sister and I were getting into a precarious position back in the drow city. My mercenary contract was never properly annulled. Similarly, Le-kzen got into trouble with higher class drows. Before we left for the Underdark, drows from both factions have tried to assassinate us. She didn't take too kindly to the fact that you were knowledgeable about the drow, because there lied the possibility that you were hired to kill us."

Ardos pointed at his undercut. "We were desperate. We did what we had to do to survive, and we're still doing it. If you were hire to kill us, let's get this over with. If you weren't... make it clear to her that you have no intention of harming her."

He grabbed her by the arm, stare heated... but hopeful. "Do not make me regret disobeying my Matron."
