"Yeah, don't worry. I'll be perfectly fine."

She grimaced slightly, then shrugged. She didn't quite believe him with his wounds he had taken, but oh well, she would trust him about that. She started to walk up the hill, besides Dean. There was a pain on her side, but she tried to ignore it, it would most likely be a bruise, she had a lot on her from the crashing boat.

She still had the disgusting taste of salt water in her mouth, and hoped there was a river beyond, or even better, a town. If there luck was good, then there might be. As she trudged up the sandy hill, a lot of sand stuck to her wet clothing. Her legs felt heavy, and her whole body ached for rest. Trying to stay to the surface in the ocean took a lot of strength, if you wanted to live.

When she got to the top, she glanced at Dean, to make sure he kept up, then, walked towards the tree line, and walked past several trees, hoping upon hope, that there was something that would do them some good on this journey they were making.

And, finally, something went they why she would have wanted it. Right out there, in the middle of nowhere, was a small village, clustered together, and people walking about. It would take a while to walk across the land to get there, but it would be worth it. The whole land about it, grew tall, old trees, and bushes. On the hill that stood Selia, was a steep slope, but there was a trail not to far off, that led down, and towards the village. It looked like some people used it often, to go to the sea, but lately, it didn't looked used at all. Tree roots dug up from the ground, seeming like steps at some places, one would have to be careful and not trip.

Selia smiled wide, happy there was a source of life nearby.

As Dean walked up the sandy hill, he tried hard to ignore the slight pain that still remained from his back as well as the several cuts and bruises in several other places of his body, but over all he was okay.

The climb in the end wasn't too bad, a bit rough yes, but Dean was quite sore and he was still a bit tired but he didn't want to slow Selia down, so he did his best to keep up, or not stay too far behind. He spit at the ground a few times, constantly trying to rid his mouth of the wretched taste of salt water. There wasn't a stream of anything on their way up, and during their mini journey up the hill, Dean hadn't spoken a single word to Selia, nor had she to him. He didn't mind it much, since they were tired, and when they finally reached the tree line, Dean was glad they were able to rest for the moment, but even more glad that up ahead there was, in fact, a town.

At first Dean couldn't believe it, and had to rub his eyes several times, without getting sand in them since his damp clothes and hands were spotted with sand. But it was real, the town was real. It was small, located in the middle of nowhere, and busy with people walking around. Finally they would be able to rest decently, eat food and drink fresh salt free water. Dean looked at Selia, and noticed that she looked at a small trail that headed towards the town. He smiled lightly and said, "Thank God there's life around here. Let's get going." He began towards the small dirt trail, careful he wouldn't trip over the wild root popping out of the ground. It would sure be a long tumble down if he did trip.

"Thank God there's life around here. Let's get going."

She nodded. If she didn't feel tired, she would have danced about happy, rejoicing that there was a place to rest. She wanted to laugh out cheerfully, but being to tired stopped her from doing so. She followed Dean to the trail, and went down carefully, and slowly, not wanting to fall. It would hurt, and not help with all the bruises she already has. She couldn't wait to get to the town, and she hoped they were friendly.

Suddenly, she nearly tripped, over a root, but she regained herself quickly. She didn't train forever with her father for nothing, stealth, and balance was a great thing to learn. She became more careful to go down, then looked at the village again. She noticed a small river ran through the town. And then, there were no telephone wires or anything. It was such a remote place, who would ever think to build a place out here? It looked as if they had no connection with technology.

"Strange place to build a town." Mumbled Selia.

It was a tricky trip down the root covered trail. Dean almost tripped himself a few times, but luckily didn't, or else he would've been in quit a large amount of pain. As if he wasn't in any already. He heard Selia trip, but when he looked back to check on her, she'd regained her balance quickly. And smiled at her, glad that she didn't fall down.

When they arrived at the town, Dean wondered who on earth would build such a remote town. And, more importantly, who would want to live there, away from the rest of the world and, as Dean slowly realized, technology. There wasn't a single phone line, cable chord or anything related to modern day technology that Dean was so used to.

"Strange place to build a town."

"You can say that again," Dean said lightly in return, before adding, "Hopefully the people here aren't too primitive..."

"Hopefully the people here aren't too primitive..."

"Yeah... hopefully." She replied. And stood by Dean's side, and just stood still a moment, resting a little, then, started to head into the town. Those who worked around, ceased what they were doing, and stood to watch her. To them, she may have looked odd, with pure white hair, she was to some.

They looked like they weren't primitive, most wore jeans, and t-shirts, though, any sign of technology, wasn't to be seen. No one came up to greet them, all the people just stared at them. The towns people seemed to be curious, wondering who she and Dean were. Selia took a few steps forward, feeling a little nervous.

"Hello..." She called to them, uncertain.

Dean stared at the people of the remote village with curiosity.A lot of curiosity. When he noticed that none of them were wearing rags but jeans and t-shirts like normal people, he almost thought they too were normal. Well as normal as one can be. But that was until he remembered that there was zero sign of technology and they just continued to stare at him and Selia. Not only was it rude, it was kind of creepy. "Could you stop staring already?!" If Dean hadn't been so sore, he would've socked one of them villagers, but since he was so sore he didn't.

After a few more minutes of the villagers blank staring, they finally went back to what they were doing. Still not uttering a single word to them. Suddenly, out of now where a young man popped out in front of them. He was fairly decent looking and appeared to be in his early twenties. "Hi there." The man said with a small toothy smile, shining from Selia to Dean, and then back to Selia. "My name is John. Would you like me to show you around?"

"Could you stop staring already?!"

The villagers were a bit startled at his sudden reaction to that, and some backed away little. Selia glanced over at Dean, and a small smile spread across her face, though, it was gone once she looked back at the people. It was strange, and creepy, but she kept a slightly cheerful face, trying to be a little nicer. Right then, the people stopped staring and went of to do what they were doing, once the young man came over to them.

She watched him closely a moment, then smiled.

"My name is John. Would you like me to show you around?"

"Hello, John... I'm Selia. And this is Dean." She said, nodding her head in Dean's direction when she introduced him. "That would be nice, but... well, I would love it if you could let us rest awhile. We got pretty beat up from the... sea." She said calmly. She looked a little uncertain at Dean a moment when she spoke, then turned her attention to John again. She bit her bottom lip, like she did sometimes.

"Hello, John... I'm Selia. And this is Dean."

Dean made an effort to give a friendly-ish smile towards the John fellow, though there was something about him he didn't like very much. "It's nice to -" Dean had begun, but was quickly cut off by John. Very very rude.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Selia...Hello, Dean." He stared at Selia with a small smile across his face. "May i say, you are quite beautiful."

"That would be nice, but... well, I would love it if you could let us rest awhile. We got pretty beat up from the... sea."

John nodded, the small smile still plastered onto his face, and directly to Selia. "But of course, I would not expect anything different. It is quite a long way from the sea, so I shall take you to our nicest hotel. I shall reserve the tour for later then, Selia?" John made his way behind Selia and Dean and nudged them along lightly to start walking.

She glanced at Dean when John had cut him off. That was quite rude, but she wasn't about to, it may cause a argument, but somehow she doubted, she just didn't want to risk anything like that. She turned to looked at John, and smiled when he complimented on her beauty, though, she did not blush, that was a rare thing for her to do, and she didn't do it now.

"Thanks..." She mumbled, smiling still.

"Thats very generous of you. And yes, please, the tour I am sure would be so much better once we're rested." She said, feeling quite tired, and hungry, and thirsty, she hated the taste of salt water, it was disgusting. When he nudged them forward, she started to walk, looking at some people who worked, then bit her lip again, as she walked on. She had many question nagging at her, and she wanted to ask them, but not now, she wanted to rest, and thought of getting some better bandaging for Dean's wound, so she held her questions back for the time being.

"Thats very generous of you. And yes, please, the tour I am sure would be so much better once we're rested."

John gave a small cheerful nod and guided both Dean and Selia to a nearby hotel. It was small, very small, about only four stories, though inside it was quite nice. Very regal styled. The place was completely deserted, only a lonely female sitting at the front desk. She had a blank look on her face, and appeared to have not noticed they had come in. John walked up ahead, going behind the counter and grabbing a pair of random keys from the shelf, which when Dean look carefully enough was filled with keys, not a single one missing. Dean leaned over to Selia and whispered, "You know, for a the nicest hotel, it seems really empty. Like ghostly empty..." He spoke in a low voice so that John wouldn't be able to hear him. Though John's ear did twitch slightly as Dean spoke.

A few moments after, John approached Selia and Dean once again and asked, "Will you two be sharing a room, or sleeping in different rooms? Though if you would like, we also have joint rooms just in case." He gave a small small to Selia yet again, and Dean sneered silently.
