It seemed like such a strange thing to think about. To think that someone could possible have powers that were for the use of knowledge, not distrusting or safety. For him, it was as if his powers showed others around him, his true nature. He was shy and closed off, which accented his weirdly combinated powers. He was just glad that so far, no one had made fun of him directly for his powers here.

As Maylynn heard the man's explaination, he widened his eyes and pushed himself up a bit, wanting to see if he could get that same power. Squinting his eyes, she stared blankly at the pages of his book, in hopes that the forced pressure to his face and head would make him get more powers.

Yesterday blinked at the boy, a little confused as to why he was so suddenly concerned about what was on the pages of the book. Or focusing on them. Whatever it happened to be, it was a little odd.

So he waited a moment. Then two. Hm...

"What are you trying to accomplish?" Because it was obvious he was trying to get something out of it. He'd been reading fine before, so what was wrong now?

Hearing the words for the strange man noticing him, he backed up and looked away, not wanting to cause himself or the man discomfort. With a barely visible redness on his cheeks, he shook his head. "I-I was doing nothing, just merely staring at the books letters." He knew that he would need to make an excuse. "I was, trying to read upside down." He answered as he gave out a slight sigh of relief, hoping the faster reader believed him.

"Reading upside down?" How strange. What a strange human. Yesterday turned the book upside down so now he was looking at it the wrong way. He could still read it, but there was a slight delay. First he had to reverse the script in his head, then flip it so he was reading it 'correctly' before storing it all away. Why would the boy want to do that? It was more difficult.

So instead he slid the book over. "Here, you can have it back." He'd already picked through the information on the immediate pages anyway. And if he needed more, he could always find it again later. It would take a while, considering a human would be reading it, though.

"I will let you study now." Yesterday got up in a weirdly stiff way; he didn't even seem to bend at the waist. Yes, he really needed to get basic human movements down. "Goodbye. Thank you for showing me your book."

It was almost cute to watch the man look at him so, emotionlessly. When he mentioned reading the book upside down, he did the same, as if to mimic the experience. He just stared in awe at him, before he jumped at the motion of the book being passed over. "A-Are you sure about that?" He almost silently asked, not wanting to argue with the fair looking person.

"O-Oh." He flushed a bit, as he had forgotten his reason for wanting to be in the library. He had been so sidetracked by this almost doll looking boy, but why? "Goodbye then." He bit his lip, wanting to say more, not wanting this to end awkwardly like every other person he had met in his life. "I-I hope to see you around-" He paused to close his eyes. "To tell you how the book was is all."
