Finally here. It had taken him almost an hour of walking around and awkwardly asking for directions, but Emil had finally found his way to his room. The pale boy was new hear and it was obvious, as he was carrying both a large backpack and a rather heavy bag of belongings, both of which pained him quite a bit. Hey, he never claimed he was fit and the weights of his baggage put quite a lot of strain on his frail body. That pain, he could ignore however. He was happy as long as he was away from the crowds and the chatter they brought with them.

The psionic made it up to the door and put the bag on the floor with a heavy sigh. He had heard he was going to get a roommate. Honestly, the idea made him nervous as he was really not one to live with others his age, especially strangers, but that's part of the deal, he supposed. Hopefully, they would be a good person at best and could be avoided at worst. Already nervous, he rose his hand and knocked on the door. Just in case his roommate was inside already, he needed to make a good impression. The boy remained still after knocking, idly fiddling at the edge of his white jacket. He was going to knock three times before using his key, in case he was interrupting something or otherwise being a bother.

'Someone's at the door', Spirit said, sitting on the floor by the bed, William's hand absently petting his ears, which he would never admit to like as much as he actually did, as the boy listened to the music with earphones deep within the ears, making him dead to the world.

'Then open it.' he said, his eyes focused at the figures moving on the screen. The walkthrough of the game was narrated in some foreign language he could not understand anyway, so he turned the volume down, letting the music blast through his ears as he watched what the hell was supposed to do. The game has been driving him nuts for weeks before he had finally given up and looked for the answer on the internet.

Spirit scoffed. 'Just in case you have forgotten, I'm the only one who has paws here.' William ignored him for a whole minute, before finally ordering. 'Warrior, open the door.' The silent creature moved from the corner in which it was standing and reached for the door.

Emil could hear voices inside. One of them was most likely from his to-be roommate, the others...He did not know, however, but their thoughts were somehow different from the norm. While he had managed to qualm the voices in his head down to simple hissing white noise, the thoughts from this room were... Of another nature. More like a low buzzing than anything else. He was fairly sure something different was inside...

A suspicion that would be confirmed the moment the door was opened. A tall figure with white hair, wielding two swords. It looked human enough, but Emil could tell from the "buzzing" he was picking up from their brainwaves, it was not. Well! Time to take the bull by the horns, so to speak. Just standing there wasn't going to get him anywhere, was it? Emil swallowed before speaking up, doing his best to make sure his nerves weren't too noticeable in his voice or mannerism.

"Um, hello. I'm...Emil Riley." The thin boy offered a small smile towards the creature before him as he spoke. "A pleasure to meet you. I'm new here and I think I'm supposed to share room with whoever lives here..?" He was honestly unsure of this decision, but he wasn't going to let his voice betray that.

Taking an earphone out of his ears, William looked towards the door to see what looked like a frightened boy trying to smile between Warrior's hand.He sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

'Wasn't my roommate supposed to arrive on Thursday?', he asked, getting out of bed, and tossing the covers to the side.

'William, today is Thursday.', Spirit said, looking at him funnily, with what passed as the wolf version of a smirk on his face.

'Tsk.', he scoffed, jumping over the wolf creature, and towards the door.

'Yo.', he said, leaning on the now opened door behind Warrior. Realising that he can't see whoever he was talking to this way, he ordered the creature to move. Warrior nodded, stepping back, and into the corner once again. 'I'm William.', he said, now able to see his new roommate. 'And you would be my mate, huh?', he looked the boy from head to toe with a frown. 'Well, get in then.', he added, turning him his back, and grabbing for a chair. 'This's Spirit.', he pointed to the wolf creature seemingly sleeping on the floor. 'And that's Warrior.', the human like spirit was next. 'And I didn't catch your name.'

Oh no, oh no... A brash one... Emil swallowed, the ingrained nervousness of a new school and having to share living quarters with someone else only increasing. As his nerves got worse meanwhile, his concentration on his powers faltered. While the boy was doing the best he could to regain his composure, objects began shaking lightly around him, as if someone was grabbing everything surrounding him and lightly rattling it. This, of course, only served to make Emil stammer before speaking on. Dammit, dammit. This was exactly what he had tried to make sure would not happen.

"I-I'm...I'm Emil. Emil Riley." He nodded at the other boy before looking up and extending his hand for a handshake, doing all he could to not look too nervous. He was just going to seem like a complete fool at this rate, something he was going to avoid after best ability. "A pleasure to meet you William." He tried to smile, but it honestly faltered quite a bit. Any normal person should be ale to introduce themselves properly, but Emil was clearly not one of those.

In an attempt to concentrate on something else, Emil rushed over to his bag, picked it up and walked back in with it before putting both his rather heavy bags down at what he presumed to be the unused bed (if only because it was quite a bit more orderly than his new roommate's).

As he did, he sent a quick glance over the two creatures, Spirit and Warrior, as they were apparently called, mumbling two quick "Nice to meet you"s. At this point, his concentration lied elsewhere, so it was rather likely that he was going to snap up some thoughts from the other three inhabitants of the room.

'Emil', he repeated turning the chair so he could follow the other boy with his eyes. 'Well, at least it's unusual enough for me not to forget it right away.', he said, leaning his head against the elbow he propped against the back of the chair. 'Sorry about the bed.', he added, seeing as the boy seemed unsure whether it was really his. 'I tried tidying up a bit, but I'm not really one for housework. It's completely clean, though.'

Too preoccupied with assessing whether his new roommate really was as much of chicken as he seemed, William didn't notice the things around him shaking until his laptop almost fell off the bed.

'Yo, is that you doing this?', he asked, frowning at the boy as he almost fell out of the chair trying to grab the compute before it got smashed. 'Stop it, now, or I'll have to knock you out. I don't wanna my things falling all around.'

Spirit sighed, surprised, as always, as how blunt William could be when dealing with others. Or should it really be unsurprised by now? However it may be, it still ended with him biting William's hand simply because he was an idiot. Even Warrior seemed to frown. 'Hey! What was that for?!'

"Oh, no." Emil replied to the other's comment about the bed, doing his best to put on a more cheery demeanour. The least he could do after his earlier mishap was making up for it by remaining positive, right? "It's alright, nothing wrong with this bed." He did pick up a few mental comments. Judging him, wondering if he was as cowardly as he seemed. He didn't mind, honestly, the words were not spoken aloud and were obviously not meant to harm him. Besides, Emil had to admit, the other boy was right. He could be rather timid.

He had just started picking up one of the various books from his bag (astronomy, of course. One of his favourite subjects) when he noticed William rushing forward to save his computer.

"Ah..! I'm so, so sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen, I just broke my concentration for a moment and it-" As Emil quickly tried to explain himself, he naturally let his mental discipline slip further, as objects began to shake and rattle with more force. This time however, Emil quickly stopped talking to concentrate on keeping a lid on his telekinesis once more. It took a short moment, but with a pounding heart, Emil managed to subdue his power to minimal levels once more. The only real thing he could think of doing was mumbling another apology to his roommate, who seemed to be in a bit of a squabble with the doglike creature.

'Great.', he muttered, shaking his bitten hand. 'The first roommate I get, and he can't even control his power.', he said, shaking his head once, before jumping to his feet, and moving a step away. 'On the other hand, I guess I should give you some credit.', leaning against the table, he kept an eye on Spirit just in case the wolf suddenly decided to discipline him again. 'I couldn't do shit either when I came here.', he said, his head turning towards Warrior as he did so. 'Just be careful to keep it in check, 'key? I meant what I said about my stuff.'

Eyeing the kid, as he had named him in his thoughts, again, he suddenly wondered how old was he anyway. He looked to be about the same age as him, however, he was never good with people, so he could've been both much younger and older, though he really doubted the older part. And he would still be the kid none the less, so do he really needs to know... Well, it would only be polite. He can do polite. Sometimes.

'So, how old are you anyway?', he asked finally, grabbing suddenly at the book the other boy was holding so he could see the title. 'Which grade? We might have classes together and whatnot. Do I need to show you around? Because I really don't think I want to.'

Emil remained silent for a short moment, silently forcing his telepathy down to dormancy. He was able to pick up a few vague words, but they quickly devolved to mumbles and then the low hissing of the usual white noise. He did visibly shrink as William began criticizing him. He had hoped to make a good first impression, but that idea was rendered an impossibility within the first minutes. He did exhale in relief when the other boy went on to "cut him some slack" as he put it, however. Okay, okay...

"Of course." Emil replied to the instructions of being careful with his powers. He had already learned that long ago. It was just that the moment he let his guard down, he was toppling over something. "I wouldn't want to break anything, I'll be careful."

As he was talking, Emil began unpacking some other items from his bags. More books, of course. The dented, worn-out telescope he had gotten years ago. Quite a bit of CDs, along with a music player (The genres were diverse, but with a majority of techno), three sets of clothes and various school equipment. Emil did not mind that his roommate examined his book, he did expect him to be careful with it after all (Burnham's Celestial Handbook: An Observer's Guide to the Universe Beyond the Solar System, Volume 1: Andromeda Through Cetus as the full title would tell William. Emil had the other two volumes among the books he took with him).

He turned to face William again, a small smile on his lips. Time to calm down. It was alright now. "I'm seventeen, twelfth grade." He replied, but hastily shook his head when offered to be shown around. "Oh no no no, don't bother yourself with that. I can find my way."

'Two years younger than me then. Well, year and a half, actually, or a bit more, so it's really the same.' he said, putting the book down, the title already too complicated of a thing for him. The books he read usually had much less words on the cover, and were nowhere near as scientific considering he mostly read various types of fantasy/horrors.

'There is three empty shelves waiting for you in the closet, and you can put the CD's on the desk beside mine, just be careful not to mix them up, because I take them out a lot. he said, stepping back as his roommate started unpacking. He certainly was nowhere near to being the most polite person in the world, however, even he did know some boundaries, mainly because Spirit still retained some resemblance to the rational mind and the bits strong enough to hurt. Thus, he gave his roommate some private space to settle in a bit, before he starts ruffling his fur again.

'And I usually keep the books under the bed, but if you think they'll get damaged there I guess we could find you some space. The bathroom is through that door on the left, by the way, if you need to put something there. Half of it is also empty waiting for your stuff.'

Suddenly, Spirit yawned, stretching his mouth as wide as he could, his sharp teeth showing. Mostly pleased with William's behaviour so far, except the showing around part, but he'll work on that later, he decided to go take a nap now, as he was really feeling lazy.

'Don't do anything stupid, kid.', he fumed at William as he closed his eyes.

Yeah, yeah...
