Mei was inwardly panicking but she had made herself calm on the outside. She had to be calm because she did bot cry, she wasn't weak. Even if the people didn't know they were her parents, they would step up once they found out right? She didn't want to outright say she was from the future. That would be rude, and up for debate so she had to think logical. She pulled out her school idea with her last name and a picture of her, lei, and sid...and Her plushie Hailey.

That had to be enough proof for them right? They would ask questions and she could answer them. Tell them it was all her fault, they were suck in the past. "I don't need an adult, My name Is Meili..Mei for short and I dont wanna go to the police station." She said with a tired sigh. Even if her mom didn't believe her...at least her dad would..right?

She had no idea how long she stood their going over senarios in her head. The time machine was obviously broken, they needed to get back, and her parents were going to kill her. She also had to find Royce and Sk, which was just a matter of her sneaking off once she got them on board.

"Yeah, I'd have to agree with Lei here. We definitely don't have any--"

Sid leaned down to look at the ID card she presented first. It said that it was from Starlight Academy, but it looked almost nothing like the ID card that he had. It was sleeker and a bit smaller, with a design he didn't really recognize. There was a distinct feeling of not-right-ness that he got from it, like he wasn't supposed to be looking at it at that moment. Yet he couldn't look away.

The drow squinted at the name, written in smaller font than the rest of the name.

"Meili Feng-So-kijak-....Crowther?.......Crowther? As in..... Clarence Crowther?"

He rubbed his forehead and looked at the other picture. The child with someone who was definitely him--their faces were almost exactly the same, except that he was wearing a shirt and his hair was mostly grown out and braided out of his face. Lei looked similar to how he did now too... except his face was somehow softer and rounder than it already was. His face was scarred a little and--....

Those were boobs. Those were definitely, most assuredly boobs that Lei had in this picture.

This felt wrong. So wrong. Like the ID, it looked like something he wasn't supposed to be looking at. It shimmered in a way that made him uncomfortable.

"Okay so," his eyes were closed as he turned to Lei. "Did--Did me and you and Clary get drunk as hell and have a--" He looked her up and down. "Twelve year old child because this is some nonsense."

Mei was panicking really panicking, they weren't getting it. She started pacing back and forth muttering under her breath about stubborness. Did she have to tell them? She took a deep breath and sighed. "Okay, I don't know what year this but, sometime in the distant future you two have me, and then whatever happens before that obviously includeds you two coming to terms with whatever you guys got going on."

She was frustrated why couldn't they just...accept that they were her parents."Just great, i touched the time machine and im stuck with completely clueless parents. Maybe other dad would be easier...I have to find Sk and Royce." She was digging through her bag, trying to find...Bam. A report card she was hiding from her parents, there was all a's on it but she was trying to build up the suspence at home. Let them think she got an F. "See look at the date. Twenty seventy-five " She said folding her arms pressing her stuffed sheep to her chest. Okay yes she was cuddling Hailey but she didn't want to seem not tough.

Despite the tone of voice Lei was using, Sid had to agree with everything he was saying. Why would he have boobs in the future? That was impossible, wasn't it? Plus, Lei was also right in the regard that he couldn't imagine any of them sleeping together, since Lei had Deith and Clary had.... well, to be honest Sid wasn't really sure what Clarence had going on. He wasn't the most open about, but it seemed like he hated Sid's affection when there were other people around, which could only translate in his mind to the rich kid being ashamed of being his friend.

He couldn't imaging anything that could result in a child happening in the past, or even in the future.

When the child flashed the report card, Sid took it and tilted it towards the light. He'd known that the report cards and some documents from the school had a seal to prevent tampering with grades or forgeries of any kind, and in his mind the girl was sealing her fate.

Or, that's what he thought before the sunlight caught and the familiar crest of the school shimmered, embossed ever so slightly the same way they did with their report cards.

That meant it was legit.

And if this was legit then--

"I..." he looked at Lei and then at... Mei, he supposed. "I don't--"

He wasn't sure how words worked right then. "Who are SK and Royce?" He tried instead.

Mei was sure that her parents were smart, after all they had to be smart to produce such a mastermind as herself. Not that she was conceited, okay she was very conceited, and reckless...and maybe a bit dangerous when she wanted to be. However Mei had never been this outwardly scared in her life. Sure she could pretend that things didn't matter and she was very good had hiding her feelings, but this would be a completely different situation if she hadn't dragged her siblings into it. Mei tucked Hailey back into her backpack when it seemed like they were starting to come to terms with the consequences of their future actions. After all it wasn't her fault she was their kid, even if it was her fault they were meeting her so early.

"So Sk and Royce are my siblings and brother. SK is like eight, and Royce is eleven, and im thirteen. Don't ask questions, yes im physically thirteen...and no i'm not mature enough to not touch the time machine when you specifically say don't touch the time machine, if anything it makes me want to touch it more. I'm the only girl..i mean its like written in stone that I would be spoiled right?" she was more ranting to herself, defending her stupid actions putting some of the few people she actually had feelings for in trouble.


"School? does this mean when I get back to the future, my education is gonna be severely outdated? Can you imagine how that will effect my studies...Poor Royce." She was kind of hoping to deflect the attention off of her but she sighed none the less. She could take care of herself, minus the not having no more than a hundred dollars in her possesion. The one time she travels without her deposit scam box and she gets wished into a different time period.

"So. how about we regroup and maybe meet up at the school, I kind of got to find Royce...he's a crybaby and can't be left alone. Sk is kinda durable they're good at hanging in there, royce had probably sued half the island by now.

Sid nodded to Lei's ideas. The drow didn't really know anything about time travel, and even if he did, he wasn't really tech savvy enough to be able to fix anything that was broken. Lei was smarter than him, and if anyone knew how something complex like time travel worked, he was sure it would be the small person now walking in front of him.

He listened to Mei talk, even though he really didn't understand that much. He understoon that SK and Royce were like.... her siblings. That meant that he, Lei, and Clary had not one, not two, but three children. Were they all like Mei? He hoped not. He felt kind of bad for future him and his friends, having to deal with such a spoiled child.

But at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a bit protective of her. She had Lei's face, and the white hair that they both shared, but she could see himself in her attitude and that felt nice to him.

He wanted to hug her, and maybe find the other two. He couldn't really leave two kids wandering around without anyone to take care of them.

But he couldn't help but notice Lei wasn't having such a good time with this revelation. He walked up to him and touched his shoulder. "Lei..." He began. He really didn't know what to say. What do you say to your best friend when you find out that the two of you have three children with your mutual friend in the future.

Mei seemed to be okay now that she'd found them, and Sid did want to focus on taking care of Lei for the moment, so...

"Sure," he told his... daughter. Weird.
