It was Claire's first real time being in the student lounge. It wasn't her typical place to be, as it felt a bit, too big and blocky for her taste in places. As her being a much more 'outside person', at the moment, of course, that was were she would rather be. Everything was worth a shot though.

Claire had gotten her friend Tara's number earlier on Valentine's day, but to her unluckiness, she didn't have a phone at the moment, so she scratched that idea. That whole day was a bit too fun for her. Claire wasn't the least bit mad at her, but she was a bit confused as to why she ran out so rapidly. That in itself was worth seeing her again, to get and explanation.

Tara was a nice girl though. She had given Claire something that she had needed for a long time, fun. Maybe she would see a familiar face here? Or maybe she would just sit in the room until she felt that she could take no more. Either way it was going to at least be interesting. Brushing off her navy blue worn out jeans, she started leaning back a bit on the chair she was on. Claire surveyed the room before putting her hands to her side and relaxing a bit. In a way, she had to admit to herself that it was kind of nice, just to stop for a second and relax.

Sighing a bit, she moved a bit to her left side, tilting her head in that direction, and moving her left leg closer to the chair. So what if it looked weird? It wasn't like it was inappropriate of something, so it shouldn't matter. Claire batted her eyes to make sure that she wasn't going to fall asleep, not needing to. Looking to the left, she watched as people around her did other more, productive things while she just sat there. Claire then re-positioned herself to the front, making sure that her back wasn't too arched as she struggled to make herself a bit proper, having no idea why she was doing it.

Turning her head again to the side, Claire saw something familiar. A girl, crocheting, or at least she thought that it was that. Perplexed, Claire got up from her chair and started to walk over to the female. Was it one of her friends? It wasn't as if the girl was hidden, but for some reason she couldn't think of the name of the girl. As she neared closer, she stopped for a second, remembering. Tara. It was Tara. Smiling, she thought of something to say. "Hey! Are you okay?" That was pathetic. Why would she come up with something so bland?

It was nice to see that at least she was a bit better, though her face didn't say so. Claire studied the girl for a second, knowing that it was something else. She smirked a bit and nodded at Tara. "Okay." She smiled a bit and stared at her. "And it's fine, it was kind of shocking but I don't mind. It's in the past." "That's good I guess." She paused. "Though I haven't gotten the flu so I wouldn't know." She laughed a bit and looked down. "What are you making?"

Claire nodded and smiled a bit. "Fun stuff." She wasn't one to do things like that, favoring more sewing if she needed to fix herself. She had always wanted to learn though, how to make blankets and hats, as it would come in handy and it was also a good skill the have. What type of blanket was she making? What colors would she use? There were a few questions that were going around in her head, though she didn't want to know the answers. She best just leave something to the imagination.

What exactly did she want to do here? Why was she even here? "I guess just to check it out. I haven't really visited this place." She answered Tara and also herself. "It's a big school." She paused and rethought it. "For me at least." She laughed nervously a bit and put her hands together.

Claire looked at Tara with some confusion behind her eyes. 'What was really the problem with her?' She thought to herself, unaware as to what was bothering the girl so much. She crossed her arms quickly as Tara started to talk, wanting her to get the point. She wasn't trying to be rude, she just wanted to help, and to know.

When she asked if they could talk in private, she nodded her head. "Of course." Smiling, Claire undid her arms and put them to her sides. "Where would be a good place?" She paused a restated the question. "Where would you like to go?"

Claire felt a bit worried as the girl led her out of the room. 'What was so important?' She thought to herself. It had to be something big, or something secret for her to be doing this. She took a deep breath as they reared the doorway. This was the first time that she had ever done something like this, it felt weird, even though she wasn't sure as to what exactly she was doing.

She held her breath as Tara put a strand of her hair behind her ear and start to talk

What had she just said? Claire was confused but his statement. They couldn't be friends? "Well why the hell not?" Claire quickly put her hands on her hips. "And don't tell me it will be for my own good because I can take care of myself." She said with a bit of anger in her voice. Why was she doing this to her?
