The First One

Whisp pouted slightly but kept walking “You and you surprises, fiiiinnnne. I can help pay...I know you said you saved up but I feel bad.” Not knowing everything wasn’t the worst thing. She was just worried about paying for the food. She knew that Liam disn’t have a lot of money and while she was rich she did have parents sending her a decent allowance every month. She had enough to pay for things. She wasnt sure how much the school allowance was but she was sure it was for items the school couldnt provide. She had everything she could need provided for her.

“That make sense, im think either cheerleading, or like soccer or something if that have it.” She was going to say something else but was to distracted by the resturant. It was an amazing choice. “So you havent eaten here before? That exciting we can try it together for the first time!”

They were immeadately seated and she quickly went through the menu trying to find something she would want to try. “This is super cool.” She wasn’t sure what she was expecting on the date but he had exceeded her expectations none the less.

Whisp shrugged her shoulders “ Uh I mean my diet is definitely meat heavy but I can eat other things. I mostly need to remain hydrated because my powers do use up the water i consume regularly. It also wasnt a weird question.” She gave him a reassuring smile.

She bit her lip as she looked over the menu not really know what to get. “ how about i follow your lead and let you pick for us? Im not sure what alot of these would taste like.” When the waitress arrived she asked for a glass of ice water. The popcorn from the was a little salty and she was already outside her comfort zome of healthy foods so far.

“Of cource, Im enjoying myself as well. Im glad we went out on the date.” She tried to not make him more nervous. Of course she thought it was cute but she was sure people didnt like the feeling of nervousness.

“So how’d you find this place? Also you should tell me more about yourself.”

Whisp nodded and looked at the food the waitress brought over with skepticism, was she supposed to pretend to like the food if it was nasty? She didn't want to not like the restaurant after he put so much thought into picking one out. Then again she wasn't one to lie to make someone feel better. "That's a really nice gesture but we honestly could've went to like a fast food place and I would've been equally content." Thinking it was better to try the food and get it over with she carefully tried some of the veggies. After all there weren't to many ways to mess up veggies. She was pleased with the taste, her earlier worry disappearing.

Whisp tilted her head to the side "Ooh, what part of the U.S? Is it nice there? I've only ever been here and the community back home. Is there a lot of snow or is it like Manta Carlo?" Places that were always hot were sort of fascinating to her, it was definitely one of her goals to visit them one day.

Whisp listened and tried to remember where on the map that was. She had a vague idea that it was somewhere near water. After all the Statue of Liberty was there, according to book she read about travel sites. “We had community snowball fights back home. They can get a bit intense when most of you have some kind of ice based power.” Snow ball fights were favorite past time, besides skating of course.

“Swiss Alps..so Switzerland. It’s remote, we dint have like netflix and such. A lot of this stuff is a culture but it’s nice. We were giving cultural lessons before we left, so we knew what to expect.” Whisp shrugged, the general location of things would be fine. She doubted he could find her home if he tried...or rather she doubted he would survive the harsh weather.

“Oh the island is great! I kinda miss the freak snow storm but I'm glad its solved. Yep my sister is here, getting kinda annoyed with sharing a room but other wise fine. How’s your oreo addiction?” She tried a bit of food while she waited for his reply, she was please that was...well pretty damn good.
