For the past couple of days, Lizzy's phone had been going off non-stop for one simple reason. Dela and Hector had kissed each other. On the lips. Lizzy had no clue what Dela saw in him, but she didn't like him. In their lone meeting Hector had come off as dodgy, and Lizzy felt she couldn't trust him.

So, she'd come up with a plan to split the two love birds apart, but first she wanted to talk to Dela. She wanted to try to convince her to break up without following through on her plans, yet she had a feeling that no matter what she said, Dela wouldn't listen to her.

And if that was in fact the case, well then Lizzy had a plan that was almost guaranteed to work. Steeling herself for what was to come, Lizzy knocked on Dela's door.

Delaney lay on her bed, quietly working on an embroidery project. She was trying to make a skull with roses falling from it's mouth. It's the most ambitious design she's done yet since going blind. The reference she made with her 3D pen lay on her lap, there to hold over her fabric and keep her on track should she need it.

Georgette lay at her feet and happily sleeping. When a knock came the dog opened a lazy eye and wagged her tail as she could smell who was there. "Come in." Dela called, and set her project down for now. She carefully shifted so she was sitting up without disrupting her carefully laid out piles of embroidery floss.

"So, whose come to see me?" She said with a grin. Dela could use a break anyways.

"The ghost that lives in this very roooooom." Lizzy said in a ghostly sounding voice before grinning at Dela as she walked in.

"So uh, What's going on with all of.. that?" Lizzy asked, as she looked at the unfinished embroidery project on Dela's bed. It looked like it was some sort of skull with roses, though she couldn't quite make out the whole thing. "It looks pretty good, especially for someone who is blind." She teased as she found a place to sit.

Dela giggled wildly, shaking with the force of it. "No one told me I had a ghost roommate!" She said between breaths. A couple pants, and her giggles were brought under control. Though she hadn't realized it yet, her laughing had scattered her embroidery floss all which ways. "This? My latest project. My most ambitious once since, well, goin' blind." Delaney motioned all down her bed.

She shifted around more, pushing her project and feeling aides aside to make room for Lizzy. "So, what's up? Got some juicy gossip for me? The tale of your latest wicked prank?" Especially that. Lizzy played the best pranks on people.

Lizzy smirked as Dela asked about her latest pranks. "Well, ya know that angel kid? The one who's been stirring up trouble with demons and what not? Well, let's just say I 'borrowed' his halo for a little bit." That had definitely been a fun prank, or at least, fun for her.

"But reaaaalllyy Dela? You don't think that mayyybe I'm here because of all the text messages you've been sending me, and everyone else?" Lizzy asked. Only exaggerating a little. She understood that Dela was happy that Hector had kissed her, but the fact that she seemed to be unable to shut up about it was almost as irritating as her boyfriend himself. Actually no. Hector was way worse.

Dela thought for a moment, angel kid? Did ring a bell for her but she didn't really care about angels stirring up trouble with demons. Seemed like a normal thing to her. Like, wasn't that what angels do normally? Then Lizzy dropped something that really made Dela pause.

"Messages? Oh! You mean about Hector?" She grinned, sheepish, "Sorry, I can't help myself. Hector's just awesome. He took me to the space station and like, when we're together he tells me what's around us and gives all the details." And Hector was getting better at it by the date! "He doesn't treat me with kid gloves, or tries to offer me help all the time." Delaney stopped, realized she had rambled.

"I can slow down on the group texting. Guess I wouldn't want to hear every detail about your boyfriend."

Lizzy let out a sigh as Dela gushed about Hector. From the way Dela talked about him, it was almost as if she knew a completely different Hector then the one she knew. The whole thing was honestly a little comical.

"Hmph, I really don't see what makes him so special." Lizzy said bluntly. To her it just sounded like Hector treated Dela as a person, rather than acting like she was some poor defenseless blind girl. She didn't see how that made him special at all. And on that note, she decided to drop the bombshell.

"I think you should break up with him."

What makes him special? Delaney blinked, caught off-guard by the statement. She talked about nothing but what made Hector special. He was cool! And nice and helped her explore the island. Hector made her happy. Then Lizzy dropped the real bomb. "I'm sorry, what." Delaney said, incredulous and absolutely certain she must of misheard Lizzy.

Then Delaney laughed, because this must be some really shitty joke. "Real funny, Lizzy. And I should join the cheer squad too, right? Dye my hair blond and wear cardigans or sweater vests."

Lizzy frowned as Dela asked if Lizzy wanted her to become a cheerleader. While Lizzy would pay just about anything to see Dela as one of those stereotypical preppy cheerleaders, she also knew there was no chance that would ever happen. And she got the distinct impression that Dela wasn't taking this seriously.

"Dela I'm serious." Lizzy said, hoping that Dela might finally understand. Then again, this could just be the inverse of what happened with Chi, causing Lizzy to let out an involuntary shudder. She really hoped Dela wasn't that dense. And maybe she could see reason.

"I don't know if he told you, but I've actually met Hector. And you know what he came across as? Shady.. Shady and untrustworthy. And he even tried to fight me!" Okay, that last part was a lie, Hector had only accused her of picking fights, he hadn't actually tried to fight her. But Lizzy wasn't about to let that stop her, especially if she didn't know about the meeting between the two

"Dela I'm serious."

"Hi, serious, I'm dad." Dela replied in a rush, a sense of dread coloring her tone. Lizzy continued. Delaney shook her head the whole time. "He's not shady!" Delaney shifted forward on the bed, scattering her craft supplies everywhere. "Hector wouldn't try to fight you."

She knew the two of them met, Hector told her about the meeting. "Like, oh my gosh Lizzy. Are we even talking about the same person?" Why was Lizzy saying these things? How could she say them when it was so unlike Hector to begin with! "What? Is it because he's a dragon? Is that it?"
