DALIA

This was so exciting! Being allowed out, caround all these people. Dalia had already scared several of the atendees at the event, tripping them with her webs or jimping out of a tree to menace them. And beyond all that, there was lots and lots of fire!
That was where she was now, hiding in the middle of the bonfire, toasty and safe despite the roar of the flames around her. Her green eyes watched her mother and Raheal with predator-like precision.

She had heard Phaedra calling to her, and seen mom send Amber and some other lady off to find her as well. But she didn't want to be found, not yet. She had one more prank to play.

A thin strand of web, invisible where it lay across the ground, stretched from her clawed fingers to Raheal's robe. She had worked very hard to land it on the fabric, trying to move as little as possible. She wasn't as good as her mom or sisters were at stealth, but in a fire she was practically invisible.
She snickered wickedly to herself and pulled the string taut. Like a fuse, the strand of web burned from the center of the fire all the way to Raheal's robes, where it was supposed to catch the material on fire.

Malara

Malara didn't even know why she had come here. Or rather, she wanted to push the reason as far to the back of her mind as possible. This event was for the departed, the dead. And she had a lot of the dead on her mind.

She walked along, arms crossed and her brow furrowed intensely. Would it even matter, praying for the lives she had taken? They had been dead so long, surely nothing she said now would matter.
Her thoughts trailed back to her father, and a tear rolled down Malara's cheek. She didn't want to dance, or pray, or anything. She just wanted to punch something until her fists were bloody and forget how terrible she still felt.

She didn't dare go near the fire, sticking to the edge. She saw that people were there praying for lost loved ones, and didn't want to disturb them.

Pandora had started laughing at Raheals comments. The first thing to really crack her up was when he said girlfriend and kids. She had never seen herself as girlfriend material. Her traditional instincts that kept her away from people never really granted her the ability to think in such codependent terms. And then on top of that her kids. That in itself was probably the biggest life change so far. Just hearing it was enough to make her laugh. And she could definitely admit that neither of them were fit to be parents. On the other hand though... She was trying... and learning. That in itself was worth something.

Unfortunately in her moment of laughing she had failed to notice the thread that now stretched from Raheals robes to the fire itself. She had also failed to notice that it was on fire like a thin fuse snaking it's way towards him. It wasn't until the hem of the clothing caught fire that she was aware of the situation.

"Raheal.. Fire..." She shouted as she reached out and began feverishly patting out the flames. They were not close enough to the fire for this to happen accidentally. This had been done on purpose and Pandora knew exactly who was responsible.

"DALIA... Get out of that fire this instance..." She stood up as she spoke, placing her hands on her hips. Inside the flame the spider ling was almost entirely invisible. It was no wonder they hadn't seen her. "You get out here and you apologize. We do not set the agents of death on fire." almost as odd as the statement itself, was the authority she was showing now as she called her daughter.

"Raheal... This is Dalia..." She sounded a little frustrated, but that was more so for not noticing her daughter as a pose to the damage that had been done.

Dalia

Dalia leapt from the fire like a rocket, using her webs to slingshot her jump so that she arced over her mother's head and landed on her abdomen. Like her skin and hair, her clothes were untouched by the flames. Every scrap of cloth, even the hair tie holding her bangs up, was woven from her own silk.
Holding a clawed hand over her mouth, she let out a stifled giggle that in more ways than one resembled the skittering of a spider's legs. "kekekeke, But mom, he reeks of weakness."

The blonde spiderling turned her wicked, fanged grin at the reaper. She winked half of her eyes at Raheal, and said mockingly, "I'm soooo sorry. Mister Skeleton. You should probably learn to pay attention better."

Phaedra watched as Storm sat up and rubbed her eyes. She had only ever seen her mom cry like this. It was real crying, not like when her sisters pushed her, and she needed to tell. This was actual pain. At first all she could do was look to see if there were any injuries on the woman, though she had a feeling that there weren't.

"You Lost someone?" Her first thought was that perhaps they could find the person that was lost, but somehow the look on Storm's face suggested that perhaps this was a little more complicated than that. Phaedra had never actually had to deal with real loss before. the idea that someone was no longer there, it was hard for her to fully grasp. She did however know that if she lost one of her sisters that she would hurt to.

As storm went on Phaedra nodded in agreement. "If it helps, I can be your friend. I'm really funny, and smart and I don't have any other friends yet so you can have me all to yourself."

"And I'm not lost. I'm here with my mom and my sisters. My mom is over there..." She stood up higher pointing to a spot on the far side of the fire where the outline of Pandora was barely visible. "Mom did send me to find my sisters... But... They are probably fine." A quick visual scan revealed that Amber was not far off walking with a strange looking woman. Dalia and Ossa were still not in sight but to be fair Dalia was a wrecking ball. She would show up sooner or later and Ossa was sneaky. If she didn't want to be seen she wasn't going to be seen.

"so... Do you want to be my friend?"

"Hmmm-WHAT!?!" Raheal was quick to act, reaching for where the fire was and furiously trying to extinguish it. He was lucky and it only got the bottom of his robes, he sighed in relief. He looked at Pandora in confusion when she called Dalia to get out of the fire but was even more confused when a small spiderling and shot out of the fire. "I-It's fine Pandora. She is young and its not like this is my only robe...I can always ask my horseman to craft a new one.. Besides it sort of....completes my look....I guess." Raheal looked back on the burnt bottom of his robes. It was strangely fitting. But still...he was lying when he said it wasn't only robe. It was. And it took a long time to get a new one crafted. Raheal sighed "A pleasure to meet you Dalia....Now that only leaves Ossa left...."

Pandora sighed as she reached behind her and lifted Dalia off of her back, and placed her on the ground beside her. "You are a handful child." She said as she began to adjust the girls hair, making it look a little more girly. "This is Mama's Boyfriend. Please be nice to him." She asked as she finished up tidying the golden locks. Stay here a moment with me please. I'd like to round you all up for a bit."[/color]

She gave another sigh as she examined the burnt fabric along the bottom of Raheals robes. "I'm sorry about this... I will make you up a new one after I get the girls to bed tonight..." She hesitated a moment before speaking again. "Oh my but my fingers are so sore. If only there was someone who could we've their silk as well as I do." She spoke in an airy tone, dropping a not so subtle hint that Dalia could help with this task.

Dalia

Dalia puffed out her cheeks angrily as her hair tie was pulled out and her messy golden locks were made tame. Once Pandora's hands left her head, she shook it violently to at least mess it up a little bit. She knew she wasn't getting the hair tie back.

At her mother's admission that Raheal was her boyfriend, Dalia's eyes narrowed dangerously at the reaper. "I thought the pretty blonde lady was your girlfriend. She's strong. This guy looks like a light breeze might knock him ov-"

She stopped however when she heard her mother mention sewing a new robe for Raheal. Her legs fidgeted awkwardly and her hands instinctively began knitting a small patch of web together.
"M-maybe I could help you make him something fireproof, mama.... But not because so feel sorry for him or anything. I just have nothing better to do, got it 'boyfriend'?"
A mixture of frustration and embarrassment flooded her face with red, and she tore the tiny scrap of web apart with her claws. Whichever one of her sisters showed their faces first was going to get it.

"Oh... sometimes... I like to read by myself. Sometimes I talk to small animals because I like to think of them as my friends even if they are scared of me. Sometimes... I like to mess with my sisters because they are idiots... that that one time I got both Dalia and Phedra into fight. Heehee hee hee hee... they had it coming~" giggled Amber mischievously.

The little spider girl's laughter came to an end, she spots her big sister Pheadra talking to someone. Wasn't she suppose to be for her and the rest of her sisters?

"Hi Pheadra! Mom wants you when your done talking to your friend okey!?" yelled Amber at the top of her tiny lungs, hopefully she was able to hear that over the crowd.

"Thats Pheadra... she likes to think of herself as being in charge of us all. She doesn't like us having fun though... she tells on us whenever we are doing something fun. Shes a real butt." piped up Amber as she looks back to her mother.

Just then, Amber caught sight of some sort of commotion back to where her mom and the reaper person was. Amber already knew it was all Dalia's doing long before she actually saw her... Dalia was ALWAYS causing trouble. Typical Dalia.

"Ohh... I guess they found Dalia... probably staring a fire again or something. She is the worst." sheered Amber as her eyes lock onto her sister momentary.

Amber then looks up to her other mother, putting on a smile for her as she does so.

"Umm... should we head back? Or should we go find Ossa? Shes weird but... I guess I like her the best out of all of my sisters." remarked Amber, looking back up to Chloe with her signature amber eyes... all six of them.

Reading. Good. Chloe could get her the sorts of books she grew up on, that her parents used to read to her. And it could be some of the more challenging stuff, too; Amber did just say that she liked to read by herself. That meant that she could already read.

Chloe imagined herself winning every petty pissfest at the Starlight Academy PTO. Oh yeah? Well, my little girl just finished reading all of The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by herself and she's only been alive for one month.

She'd let that stuff about fighting with her siblings go without comment, for now. Chloe had been like that with her brother; the brother whose ghost she had seen out of the corner of her eye at least two more times since she'd started talking to Amber.

While Amber was distracted by her sister, she noticed a small voice coming from within her hair. She almost forgot that she had Arach hidden on her, sometimes. Chloe would have responded, but Amber went on, talking about her other sisters. If their personalities were anything to go by, Amber was definitely the better candidate for her daughter, as far as she could tell at this point.

"She's weird, you say? Well, I'd love to meet her. But first, let me introduce you to one of my own friends." Chloe reached on top of her head to let Arach onto her hand, then held Arach out for Amber to see.

"This is Arach. She's my familiar." If Arach didn't introduce herself or say hello, Chloe would prompt her to.

"And I'm sure my father, who's your grandpa, would love to meet you, too, Amber." She said this more for Arach's benefit than Amber's. Surely, her father wouldn't be able to chew her out about causing unwanted pregnancies, given his own behavior.

At the sound of Amber's voice Phaedra immediately perked up. Her mom had wanted her to go back. That could only mean one thing in the young spiders mind. Dalia had done something again. Phaedra sighed in an overly dramatic fashion as she looked over at Storm again. She wanted to stay here with this woman, but if her mom had asked for her then she had to go. "I have to go see my mom. I'll try and come back to see you again." She said happily before turning to run off towards where her mother had been.

She moved quickly, climbing over tables, and around people like an eight legged ATV. As she approached she caught sight of Dalia, and still as she got nearer she saw the reapers burnt robes. Phaedra shook her head as she stopped next to her sister giving her a stern look. "Dalia. What did you do now?" She said in a false tone of frustration.
