"Oh, you didn't have to get me anything." Elisa said, even as the Girl gave her her gift. Picking it up, she smiled, still a little worried at the emotion she felt from Pallavi and Regina. "Thank you, Pallavi."

Feeling Lucan kiss her, she leant against him, but her attention was still on Pallavi. "You don't need to go, but if you want someone to talk to, I recommend Regina. She looks like she could use someone to talk to her, and Euphemia isn't really the best to help someone emotionally."

She smiled, nudging her towards Regina. "Trust me. She is worse than both of us combined at making friends."

Regina took a long sip of her drink. It wasn't fair. Beautiful people existed who didn't want to hang out with her, and some of them thought that she was weird and gross and wouldn't want to smooch her. Why was that okay? Why was that allowed?

She almost didn't notice a different cutie walking up and talking to her, she was so distraught. Was she unwell?

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm totally — I mean, uh, I'm fine. Don't worry about me. It's not a big deal"

This particular cute person had a bit of a monotone to her voice, which was... not endearing, if Regina was being completely honest. But that was okay! Not every odd trait of every cutie had to be as weirdly endearing as Roa's bottomless rage.

"I'm Regina, by the way."

She took a glance over at Pallavi and Elisa. They were talking about her, she just knew it, and it couldn't have been anything good. Ugh.

"Regina," She nodded. "I am Euphemia, it is a pleasure to meet you."

She spoke formal, almost businesslike, hardly the way a teenager at a party would normally talk. She seemed to be observing Regina as she spoke, eyeing her up and down, taking note of her expression and body language.

She followed Regina's gaze, looking over to the other girls. From where she was standing she couldn't tell what they were talking about, but she didn't think it was relevant to her at the moment. She readdressed Regina, tilting her head to the side slightly as if confused.

"I apologise if I am overstepping my boundaries," She continued. "But has the girl over there done something to upset you?"

"Ohh... " was the only thing to come out of Pallavi's mouth as she looked to over to Regina's direction awkwardly. Elisa's suggestion put her in... precarious situation as her friend was sort was throwing her back into the proverbial fire. Seeing Regina being bummed out had made her feel guilty for she knew that it was her own fault for handling the situation poorly. Now... she wasn't sure if Regina even wanted to talk to her, especially now that other girl was talking to her.

"I... dunno... I feel that I really bungled with her because I... I couldn't get a handle on her? I didn't feel comfortable and I didn't know how to say it so I just... wanted to leave but I think that just messed up bloody everything."

Palalvi then rubs the back of her neck, her many vines wriggling in anticipation of something.

"Should I go over and say... sorry? Or should I just... leave her alone and try not to make things worse? I feel like I made things into a bloody mess now."

"Not really," Regina assured her. It was a lie, but she didn't want to talk about it. Because, really - being this upset that someone rejected your advances? Regina had enough self awareness to realize that wasn't an attractive way to be.

She drank some of that beer she wasn't supposed to be drinking. She remembered someone calling alcohol "liquid courage," and she wasn't sure if that was actually how it worked, but she still wanted to give it a try. It tasted terrible to her, but so did medicine.

"Are you one of Elisa's friends too, Euphemia?"

Evie blinked, before fishing her phone out of her pocket and checking to find that yes, it was in fact already there. Huh, neat.

"Thanks! I always aim to impress~." She giggled, pocketing it again. Never one to pass an opportunity to show off, she stood up from the wall, before jumping off, performing an acrobatic front flip in the air, and landing gracefully on both feet in front of Eliza.

"I'm Evie!" She introduced herself with a smile. leaning forward and tilting her head a bit. "It's a real pleasure to meet you."

She grabbed a small bite to eat from the nearby table, tossing it into the air and catching it in her mouth.

"So, Eliza." She continued after swallowing. "Don't suppose you're willing to share how you got onto my phone, are you?"
“Pleasure?” Eliza echoed. “Pleasant, yes. Pleasure comes later,” she promised, eyes shinning with obvious interest, held in check only by the fact they were in public.

“As to your phone,” she went on between sips of her beer, “I’m a technopath. You’d be amazed just how easy the average phone is to access. I could do some real damage to one if I wanted to. But I’ve found putting my number in a cute girl’s contacts a better use of my abilities. Much less invasive. Much more fun! Speaking of fun...”

She winked again, and Evie would feel her phone vibrate with a new text. This one included a picture of Eliza, wearing what she was wearing right now, complete with the current party in the background. But in the picture, Eliza top had a far deeper neckline than it was in person, revealing much more clevegage than Eliza was actually showing. The picture was also blowing a kiss up at Evie, one eye closed on a wink.

“So that thing with the wall and the snack... gravity manipulation?” She asked.
