Lochlann was looking for his apartment keys.
The young man was barefoot in his apartment. Each step he took echoed like a horse's hooves. He wore jeans, a t-shirt that advertised a kayaking company in Shickshinny, and he accessorized with a beer bottle in his left hand. Lochlann took a swig, then lifted up the magazines on the small coffee table across from the futon. No keys there.
Things had been disappearing and reappearing in places he had not left them. Or, maybe, as Lochlann suspected, he was just losing things.
There was no way Lochlann lost the person that suddenly materialized in his apartment, though. Nope. That was most definitely not Lochlann's,
"Hey uh," Lochlann said, looking up at the other person with wide eyes. "Uh...what the fuck?"
