Richard Trickson smiled to himself as he pulled his guitar out of its case. The light filtering in from the window made the body shine with a gleaming ruby red color.

"Ah, Cherry Apple! You are looking lovely today." The rocker smiled to himself as he spoke to his guitar. "Are you ready to practice?"

Richard Trickson stood up, looking around the abandoned classroom he had taken over as a practice room. The rocker had taped up egg cartons all around the walls as basic soundproofing, and moved all the desks out of the room. He grinned at his work, it wasn't the best, but it served his purposes.

"How about we give them that ol' Razzle Dazzle, Cherry apple?" Richard Trickson let his fingers brush across the strings of his guitar, letting his smile grow wider as he felt the vibrations around him. Pulling a pick out from his jacket, he began to softly strum, letting the sound from his guitar echo around him.

Then he began to play, using his abilities to manipulate the soundwaves he was producing to act as the backing instruments for his song. He played loudly and proudly, the sound drifting off into the hallways. It wasn't hard to figure out where it was coming from, one only had to follow the music.

High school had let out two hours ago and Candy was supposed to be settling into her dorm like any other newbie would. Of course, because Candy didn't want to be lumped in with fumbling freshmen and fellow newbies her junior year, she decided to jump straight into the student life. She was thirty-nine years old anyways, wasn’t she supposed to have her life figured out at this point?

While something was telling her she was not in the high school building, she kept going furtherbecause she was on a mission to start up her dream club. First, she would have to find an abandoned classroom to hold it in. While it may have been easier to ask one of the administrative staff for permission, it wasn't like she had anything better to do with her newfound freedom.

Her heels clicked rhythmically against the tile floor as she continued to walk further down the hallway. Almost every classroom appeared to have signs of life, the task of finding the perfect club room turned out to be much harder than she envisioned it to be. She let out a small grunt, surely this hall had at least one empty classroom. Just when she was about give up all hope she heard a captivating noise coming from the end of the hall. While she was skeptical of the presence of a higher up being nor did she believe in superstition, music that good wasn't something she came across daily. This had to be a sign, right?

Her heels clicked faster, scuttling over to the source of the sound. Egg cartons blocked every glimpse of the room she could’ve got. Who in the world needs to tape egg cartons to a window? With so many students paying good money attend to this school, she presumed that the music program would be just as stellar as the rest of the programs at Starlight, but that appeared not to be the case. Without a speck of hesitation she swung open the door and poked her head in. To her surprise, the room happened was only occupied by a guy and his guitar, not a full band.

“ Hiya! Watchya playing? Is this some kind of one man band?” She queried with curious eyes.

“ By the way, I’m totally digging this diy decor! You turned this wall from drab to fab! Kudos to you, I mean, if it were me decorating this place, I would probably spray paint them pink before taping them on the wall, but everyone has their own style.” She commented, tapping one of the carton covered walls.

“ Oh! I’m such a doofus!” Candy rolled her eyes in annoyance with herself. “ I haven't even said who I am! Well, my name is Candy, I’m your local living doll!”

Richard Trickson had just finished his song as the door to his practice room was flung open by a girl the rocker had never seen before, with a spectacular outfit. The denim-clad rocker always appreciated someone who didn't just wear the basic uniform. You had to have style! Flair! Otherwise why wouldn't you just wear a brown boring sack?

The rocker grinned widely, spinning his guitar in it's sling to rest on his back and resting his fists on his hips. He puffed out his chest triumphantly and proudly as Candy spoke. He was used to people talking quickly, and let her finish before he answered.

"Good Morrow! Richard Trickson just finished playing 'Razzle Dazzle', and yes! He is currently a one man band!" He gestured to the cartons lining the walls. "Thank you! Richard Trickson considered decorating them, but as they are merely temporary soundproofing, he felt it not necessary."

He extended a hand in greeting. "Not a doofus, but merely excited to be in the presence of a star such as Richard Trickson! It is a pleasure to meet you Candy! Richard Trickson is the name, and being a star is Richard Trickson's game!" He grinned wildly, pleased to be complimented on his hodgepodge soundproofing.
