Sev held his side during the whole thing. His armor charred lightly as he breathed deeply. As he heard the beasts roar of pain. Reina did it. Reina was able to keep him safe for now. Though it was Sev's turn to keep the one person he held dear safe. Beating back his pain as he took a health potion and took a huge swig of it as the baby took it's turn to Reina. Sev found his opportunity.

He took a deep breath and grabbed his sword. He felt his strength returning at an alarming rate as he gripped the hilt. His body moving almost on it's own as he slashed upwards on it's neck, then jumping onto it, using the body of the beast as a stepping stool as he launched himself into the air.

"Time for a Sev special!" he yelled as he slashed under him, the beast trying to bite him out of the air as he landed behind it. His blade emanating a mist as he turned around, slashing wildly for a few seconds at it's legs and tail. Each slash creating a portion of energy that seemed darker than his intent. The wyvern roaring in pain as he saw fire coming out of it's mouth. The beast was pissed. Not at Reina thank the heavens, but at Sev. Of all people.

He used his shield the best he could as it's tail went to hit him from both sides. Blocking both sides as the tail came for him.

"Reina! Keep up the pressure!" he yelled.

Reina was surprised that her attack hadn't killed the baby, but given she had almost no experience delivering the killing blow with her lance, she'd entirely missed big vital artery in its neck that would have been an instant death. Well shit.

Her gunlance reeked now, as the thick, musky scent of wyvern blood filled her nose. She reloaded the weapon and planted her feet, bracing herself as her weapon began to glow with the familiar blue of the unlimited special move, Wyvern's Fire.

She aimed very deliberately at the body. Although she knew it would do my damage if she tried to blow the baby's head off, its constant thrashing made that impossible.

"Sev! Firing in the Hole!" She warned as she felt the lance quivering with the slowly building pressure of the rounds about to burst forth like an explosion.
