Faeyt stared up at the nurse - she was often here, but this lady was new, nonetheless she lifted her arms up and waited to be taken. "Check-uuuuu!" She crooned, clearly aware of what was going to happen. She'd had check-ups before.

"No pointy-stick." She tells the nurse sternly, puffing her cheeks out. She hated needles; she'd been poked listlessly when she was younger.

The nurse blinked before chuckling a bit. A smile stretched across her face.

"No pointy sticks, don't worry. Just have to make sure your head's fine."

She gently took the girl as Sai watched. It would be a fairly short check up since the woman would just examine her head and check to see if there were any injuries that required treatment. The sound magic did its job for there was nothing there at all. It was like the injury didn't happen.

"It looks like your daddy healed you well! You don't feel any pain either right?"

She just wanted to make sure before Faeyt was let go. If she didn't feel any pain, then she would let her go. Sai then would come with her so that he could start on the adoption papers. There were procedures that he needed to go through after all.

Faeyt bobbed her head, "No hurt. Pretty music is good!" She squealed, beaming brightly as she kicked her legs. "Happy happy. New daddy!" She clapped her hands, beaming brightly. "Can go back?" She pointed toward her new daddy, quite adamant that she be handed back to him. She was afraid he might disappear.

"Yep! You're good now. Daddy's waiting for you outside."

The nurse led Faeyt back into the waiting room where Sai was sitting. Music was coming from the room. Turns out Sai started playing the guitar as he was waiting for the girl. The moment he spotted them, he smiled before finishing off the piece with a couple of notes. The man stood up and strapped the guitar to his back. Once he finished, he extended one of his arms out to grab Faeyt's hand. It was time for them to go.

Faeyt latched onto the man's hand, giggling loudly as she hung off of him for a moment. "We go now, daddy?" She inquired, waving to the nurse as she tugged her father's hand excitedly. She wanted to show him where she lived - she didn't get that she'd have a new house too.

Sai nodded in response to the girl's question. He had to go to the girl's current home if he wanted to start the process. He needed to talk to the officials and get the adoption papers and her file. He was honestly excited; he got to take on a new responsibility and bring loving care to a child. He was so relieved that the house was clean; it would've been very awkward taking his new daughter home to a messy house. Of course he had to get the papers and meeting settled first. Being that he could not talk, he gestured towards the door in a "lead the way" fashion. He was pretty sure he could catch up with her, especially if he was holding her hand like he was.

Faeyt beamed happily as she started out the door, grasping tightly to his hand. She was heading down the hall - through the academy. She bounced up and down in front of the daycare - pointing into the room.

Then she shoved into the room, pushing past the other children and darting to hang off of one of the worker's arms. "Got a daddyyyy!" She squealed beaming upward.

The worker frowned toward the man, scooping the child up as she began to apologize - "Sorry, sir. This one brings many people here, trying to get adopted." She offered a weak smile, chewing her lip gently. "Faeyt, go play with Aimem." She urged, putting the child down and nudging her off.

They arrived at a daycare. There were various workers and children around. Watching her skip like that was adorable. Apparently she recognized one of the workers for she let go of his hand and went bolting to her to tell the good news. The girl had the widest grin on her face. However, the worker frowned when she saw him. He raised an inquisitive eyebrow. The woman then apologized to him for having been brought here. He shook his head at her apology and began to use hand signs.

"I want to adopt her. Where do I need to go to talk to someone about adoption?"

Hopefully she or someone else would be able to understand him.

The worker furrowed her brow at the hand signals, before speaking slowly, "Well, if you're here to adopt her, there's some papers to sign." She brushed her gaze across Faeyt, playing with the other children.

As the woman went to get the papers, the little girl had a fit - seizure. She fell down off the chair she had been standing upon, only to seize on the ground - she was not conscious by the time she started to actually seize, though.

The children scattered from the little girl, who was biting her tongue quite hard; it was a fairly bad seizure, but not one of the worst the child had ever had. The worker had not even noticed anything was happening; though she was in the farthest backroom, where the main office was - with files and the like tucked away.

The worker, for some reason, spoke at a slow pace. Perhaps she thought he was deaf as well for some reason and was using his vision to see what she was saying. He wasn't sure how she would come to that conclusion, but he thought nothing of it as she walked off to get the papers. He smiled at the sight of Faeyt playing among the other children. However, his smile quickly faded away the moment she fell out of her chair. He bolted over to check if she was okay. Suddenly her body started shaking as it was pinned to the ground. She was unconscious as she trembled. What was happening?!

The father-to-be panicked. This didn't seem like something his music could heal, so he ran to find the nearest worker. Unfortunately he couldn't scream. There was no voice for him to scream with. Instead he pulled out his guitar and made loads of noise by strumming at the strings and projecting it down the hallway. It was a form of panic call as the instrument cried HELP. It wasn't bad playing, but it was jarring and intense like a hospital siren's wailing. His sound manipulation powers ensured that he would be heard from all the way in the kids' side.

Once he was done, the young man hurried to his girl's side as his eyes widen with horror. He didn't know what else to do. He was unfamiliar with seizures and how they worked. The guitar was put to the side as he then moved objects and furniture out of the way so that whoever was coming could access Faeyt easily. He then kneeled by his almost-daughter's side and watched over her with a concerned look.
