Lochlann opened the door to his apartment--it was never locked--and went right in, leaving it open behind him for Vlad to follow.
If she was expecting anything fancy, she was going to be disappointed. It was a small, studio apartment. The door opened up into the narrow kitchenette with a comfortable bathroom on the right, and the bedroom/living area before them.
It was spartan in nature with few personal possessions or furniture. He possessed a kitchen table, a bed, and a nightstand, and that was about it. Oh--he had the two chairs on the balcony, but he didn't really count those.
"Make yourself comfortable," Lochlann told her. "I'm gonna go wash and rebandage my hand. You should try my bed. It's super comfortable. Oh, and don't be afraid of Lamby. He's really nice."
Lamby was the fluffy white lamb that was walking in from the balcony to inspect Vlad and her belongings. It might have been a little weird to hvae a sheep in the apartment, but he didn't shed, and he didn't bark, so the landlord couldn't complain.
"Bahhh" Lamby greeted her.
