"None that aren't dangerous." Shay was sad to see the clouds and the sky had darkened over into an inky black. Bits of light, stars, shone through. She always tried to find the first start to show up; it was said one got to make a wish then, but it seemed they came in clusters. "I was thinking I could find someone to do it with us. Someone stronger. But I don't know who yet. This will take some planning. We have to be careful if what we think is true."

Kenta nodded. "That'd probably be best... Though, if we have someone to make it safe... Would I even turn into him? I thought it was the danger that made it happen..."

"I mean, yeah, we'd need something dangerous. I haven't thought out all the kinks yet. Again, just something we'll have to plan. It's not something I can come up with in one night." She looked at him and smiled radiantly. "I'll figure it out."

"Oh..." He smiled and nodded again. "Alright, I trust you. Whatever you come up with, I'm sure it'll work."

Shay was glad he had so much confidence in her ability. She wasn't so sure. Did she even know any powerful people? One that would help her, nonetheless? She didn't know many people at all. She closed her eyes listening to the music of crickets and the local nightlife. "I wish I could help more."

"What do you mean?" He asked, rather surprised by the statement. "You're figuring out what I never could, you're finding out who I am... Even if it isn't that great..." He looked down for a moment, then back at her. "And you're... You're sticking around me after figuring out all this... And I'm just that brat that stole your drawing the other day."

Shay sat up, so she wasn't leaning on him anymore. She wished, then, that she could pull her knees to her chest and curl up out of his view. She wanted to tell him she was a decent person or, at least, explain why she had stayed around, but Shay didn't have an answer.

"It -- I'm good at puzzles," she said instead. "I guess, I'm just not that put off by death. I should be. I should be afraid of murderers -- not that you are one -- but, I'm just not."

"Thats good... Cuz... I'm really not good at puzzles... Clearly. The pieces were always there. I shoulda figured this out a while ago..." He was quiet for a moment after this. He didn't know what else to say. He felt... weird. He made a friend, almost died, she almost died, he found out he was some kind of monster... All in a couple days. He turned to her, hesitated for a moment, then brought his arms around her in a hug. His gloves made this easier, as they went much of the way up his arms, but the torn off sleeve made the brief embrace just a tad awkward to position. He didn't know why he wanted to do this so badly, maybe it was everything. He was simply compelled to, like he needed this to keep going.

Shay was taken by surprise when he hugged her. She was wearing a long sleeve shirt, as she often did, so he needn't worry about touching any skin on her body beyond her face. She was stiff, but soon relaxed in his hold. She didn't want to fall off the tree, so she didn't try to hug him in turn.

Shay wasn't sure what to say. Was he all right? Upset? Did she have to say something or was her being here enough? She decided against speaking because she had long ago promised herself to keep quiet when she had nothing worth inputting.

Once the impulse passed, he was left surprised she hadn't pulled away. He figured she wasn't the huggy type. He didn't cling for long with that in mind. "S-sorry..." He mumbled out shyly once he let go. "I just... Everything sorta..." He didn't know what to say. He really hoped he didn't piss her off doing that.
