"Yeah." Though it really wasn't that simple, Auden wasn't going to pop Eroshay's bubble of confidence. She was slowly learning how to control her powers, while he had to learn to not use his as much. "I didn't want you to feel like you had to kiss me, just because I was close enough to kiss, yeah?" He didn't want to go too deeply into his reasoning, as he was over for the time being. Yes, Auden was rather confident in his skills to get Shay to like him, but it felt wrong all of a sudden.

"Show off, me?" He grinned ear to ear at that comment, as the thought of pampering her like this did seem a bit over the top. This was nice though, to feel her body so close to his own, but still having a level of innocence between them. Though it was obvious, his face was bright red as he thought of a location for them to go. "We have a few options. Maybe the beach? Or the woods." After a second to himself, he shook his head, scratching out the first idea. "We can hold hands in the forest?" Auden said as he slowly turned in that direction.

"I get it, but I kissed you because I wanted to." Shay had that tendency; she was realizing, to do as she pleased, even against social conduct. Had part of that been gotten through Klaus and Vito?

She snuggled into his chest, all too content there as he walked them toward the woods. "I love the forest," she beamed up at him. "Let's definitely go there! Then I can kiss you again." She blushed, trying to hide her face with her hair.

"We could play catch again; man isn't that always fun? I love being chased. Oooh if you catch me you can kiss me. Fun reward right?" She reached up to touch his face, too eager for physical contact. Wanting. Shay hadn't gotten to be in control of this much in -- damn, in forever.

Auden chose not to speak as she commented on the fact that she wanted to kiss him. It wasn't often that he was wanted; especially for something so close and loving. The thought of having someone wanting to kiss him was all too exciting and new. He reveled in the thought that, maybe Shay would actually want to be with him. The blush on his cheeks was a good enough answer for what he was feeling.

"Mmmm..." He chuckled playfully at the thought of having to catch her in order to get a kiss. "You know, I am a pretty fast runner, so I would watch what you say there." He jumped a bit when her hand raised up for his face. Before she could touch his cheek, he kissed her hand quickly with a light smile. "Oops, I guess I broke your rules." The Raven Mocker looked up and realized that they were almost at the forest. "Damn, that was quickly." It seemed that the time had passed like nothing for him. Setting the girl down gently, he nodded his head as a signal to start running. "I'll give you until the count of ten."

"Oooh. So scared. Until the count of ten." Shay bounced from foot to foot, playfully, wiggling her hips. If he actually began to count, Shay would rush off into the forest.

She zigzagged around a series of trees and caught a low hanging branch to pull herself up and into the tree, climbing as high as she could before he found her. What better way to escape someone faster than you than to go up a tree? Seemed legit.

If he didn't find her soon enough, impatience deemed Shay call out his name lightly, tauntingly. She was the fucking best at hide-and-go-seek. Yes, she was!

Shay swung her feet, a seven or so feet above the ground. How was she going to get down? Hrm. That was a thought for later.

"1...2...3....." He counted up to 10 as loudly as he could say them, even waiting an extra second or two before he darted off into the forest after her. She was a fast runner, even though the taunting had given her a small disadvantage. Auden pretty much sprinted forward, going wherever he thought that she would. It wasn't like there was a clear direction that she had headed for him to follow. Though, once she called out his name, there was no hiding from him. His speed went up again, following the low echo of his voice to a.... Tree?

Left, right, and then up he looked to see her, looking all smug. Though, he wouldn't be phased by this; he was a Raven Mocker. In a matter of seconds, he switched into his other form, vaulting up into the air. Flapping his wings at her height, he waved to her, before reaching over with his clawed hand to tag her. "I found you." The bird like creature just hoped that he wasn't scaring her.

Shay hadn't thought of that. How stupid. Huff. She pulled back when he reached out to touch her and squealed delightfully. "Nu-uh!" She teetered back, losing her grip and falling off the branch she was sitting on.

She could be secure in the knowledge that a seven or so foot drop wouldn't kill her or even seriously wound her. The wind would be knocked out of her, and she might have a bruise on her back, but she'd make it through.

Shay breathed out shakily, trying to laugh though she had no breath to do so. "O-Okay.... c-caught." She wasn't getting up and running off again; that was for sure.

Once Eroshay had caught her breath, she leaned up on her elbows and grinned at him, eyes bright with amusement. "I forgot you could fly. Rookie mistake. Oh well, what are you going to do, right? Wanna claim your prize now or make it double or nothing?"

Oh what a bad mistake. When she teetered backwards, his instinct was to obviously catch her. That didn't go according to plan though, she she fell a lot faster than he had expected her to. With her on the ground, he shifted back into his human form, falling to the ground with a loud thump. "Are you alright?" He was sure that she was, as there hadn't been any major cry for help or complete silence. The boy creeped up to her slowly, jumping back a bit as she propped herself up.

"I mean." He quickly got on all fours, inching up closer to her until their nose almost touched. "How could I not claim someone like you?" Being over her like this made him feel in power, like he could change her fate with a swing of his hand. Auden's teeth shinned through as he brought out a smirk. In that moment, he wanted to be the dominant one; he wanted to show Eroshay that he wasn't just some cute boy that did cute acts for her. With his hand, he pushed on her chest, so that she would go down again onto the ground. The same hand traced her collarbone, while a smirk of excitement stayed plastered on his face. This power was something he craved for. In no time, he was over-top, with his hands forcefully interlocked in hers.

Shay's breath hitched when Auden pushed her down and crawled atop her. She knew, right beyond his red-tinted sunglasses, lay beautiful red eyes and she was staring right up into them. Her throat felt a little tight while in this vulnerable position.

She rose her chin and bared her throat to him. Quiet, waiting to see what his next move would be. She wanted him to kiss her. Shay wasn't sure how maybe how they did it in the movies? Something passionate and intense. A real kiss, not a schoolyard one.

But when Eroshay thought about it, actually took the time to imagine it, she couldn't imagine doing more than that. She didn't really know this boy. In a strange way they were using each other, weren't they?

The appropriate thing to do here would be talk. Get to know each other. Get some form of connection. That would be easier than going home and having to tell her parents that her dress was caked with mud and twigs because she's semi-fooled around with some rando boy. It would be easier to say he was her boyfriend. Adolescence was confusing.

"Claim me then. I'm right here. Kiss me."

He took her words in stride. Rather than trying to argue that they were strangers, that they were alone together in a forest; he leaned down. There was no reason in the 14 year old's head then, as if nothing else mattered except for her. Eroshay was beautiful; everything about her was fine toned to his liking. Her hair was the color that he adored, her eyes staring blankly into his own shaded ones. Her lips, so tiny and untamed by his own. It was as if they were calling to him. Kiss her, kiss her. That's what she wanted, right?

Leaning ever so gently into her, his eyes closed as their lips touched. Though it seemed as if this one was a lot more; heated. Their bodies were closer, their hands were interlocked and there was a lot less fear. They were getting more experienced with every second that they were together. Auden couldn't get enough of her. Oh why did he want this poisonous girl so badly?

Shay had to concentrate on stopping her flow of magic. Before now, she had always thought she stopped it at her hands, where contact was made, but no. Eroshay's magic halted in her throat, or at the back of her neck. It was an uncomfortable knot that seemed to grow in intensity with every second she held it back.

Her kiss wasn't as heated as his, she took on a more passive, if not nervous role, this time around. After a few seconds of kissing, Shay pushed back on his hands and grumbled. Any delayed reaction of his to pull back on the kiss would earn him a very sharp bite to his lower lip, likely to draw blood.

She didn't trust him quite enough to have him holding her down so long, and it wasn't long before Shay had to reassert some dominance. When you were a human on an island like this, well, it was worth keeping a closer eye the people around you. To be fair, though, Shay knew a Raven Mocker, and she knew how they fed. She wasn't weak enough in body or mind right now to be fed on.
