Sweet Delights

Well, Anthia was going to host another sweet-themed giveaway, but baking all of those cookies and cooking at the maid cafe left her exhausted. What was she going to do with all of these supplies?! She had all kinds of sweet syrups, sugar, candy pieces, sticks, and other miscellaneous items. She brought them with the intent of opening up a temporary candy shop/booth of sorts. Being a Rosales kid, the funds were within her means. People could acquire candy and donate to charities meant to benefit less fortunate families. However, this candy donation drive would be a bust without the treats being made!

Or would it?

In a magical moment of inspiration, Annie got an idea. She would have a Create-Your-Own-Candy event! By utilizing the large space she acquired with the academy's permission, she could organize various candy-making booths! So that's what she did. When one would arrive to this area, they would find a colorful display of decorative booths and tents. Trekking further in would reveal that the booths were multiple candy-making stations. Guests could make all kinds of scrumptious desserts. Rock candy necklaces? You got it! Giant rainbow lollipops? Absolutely! Delicious candy apples covered in lots of different toppings? No problem!

The best part about it was that it was free! However, there were donation jars placed by the stations as well. If one desired to, they could put however much cash they wanted into the jar nearest them. All of the proceeds would go to charity. She of course had to get people to man the stations and had to come up with a diagram setup for the event on the fly, but it worked out beautifully! When people were done, they could go over and eat candy at one of the many tables situated underneath a marvelous, bright tent.

Anthia was just relieved she could pull something together like this.

Anthia was not at a particular booth but was just wandering about checking to see everything was in order. She immediately stopped when someone addressed her. She looked over. A cute tanned girl was asking her what role was she running for. Her face broke out into a sweet smile.

"I'm actually more interested in Treasurer. I want to help organize our finances so we can make more fun events like this."

A giggle escaped her lips. She figured that this would appeal more to the little girl. While she was no empath, she could tell that this potential voter was excited about all of the candy.

"What candy were you thinking of making? And oh, my bad, what's your name? You probably saw my name already, but I'll introduce myself to be polite. I'm Anthia."

Anthia grinned.

"Mhm! Girls stick together!"

However, the girl's words caused the realization to hit her. Oh shoot, yeah, Sage was now running for Treasurer. That meant she would be fighting him. That made her sad because she thought he was a nice guy, but she would be a good sport and continue her campaign towards becoming a student council member. She had to do her best!

The girl's next question caused her expression to change into one of horror and disgust at the mention of thievery. It was better to earn something than to take it from someone else. That was messed up, and it always broke her heart to see people willing to hurt others for gain.

"I have no interest in stealing. It's absolutely wrong and puts people in worse situations. I don't understand those willing to take from others...."

Her tone turned solemn too as she spoke. Figuring that it would be best to change the subject, she noticed the eight-year-old's indecisiveness.

"How about starting at the nearest booth and then going around in a circle? It'd be easier travelling that way."

Anthia didn't mind hanging out with Thea at all. In fact, she actually moved next to Thea and started working on candy necklaces with her. However, the necklaces she worked on weren't for her; they were for her family. She figured that her siblings and parents would appreciate the treats. She would have fun and make treats with the Prax girl. Seeing that she was planning to make sweets for her family anyway, this was killing two birds with one stone.

"Yeah, I do notice there's a lot of kids running about! I hope I don't give too many of them stomachaches....it does make me happy to see so many smiling faces though."

The necklaces would be for her dads. She thought it would be cute if Rose Dad and Snake Dad had matching necklaces.

"You making candy for anyone?"
