Despite the sharp chill that hung in the air, Ania refused to leave her spot on the ground. An earlier snow flurry had rained upon her, and left a small patch of green where she sat. The grass was covered in a thick coat of white, making the grounds almost unrecognisable. Huddling back into her warm coat, Ania's shape receded into a solid black blob. She was propped up against a tree, debating against getting up or staying down. Down required the least amount of effort, but it was cold. As much as she didn't enjoy being cold, she didn't enjoy moving around a whole lot either.
After a cursory glance to her schedule, she realised she didn't have any more classes to get to. That meant she could stay here as long as she could tolerate it. Zipping up the coat all the way, Ania folded her legs inside and mushed her face down as far as it would go, her nose hovering just above her knees. Squishing her arms backwards through the arm holes, Ania wrapped her arms around her knees and closed her eyes, humming an unrecognisable tune under her breath. Was this how bears felt when they hibernated for winter? Probably, but without big jackets to huddle into.
