((Aaa sorry my mum dragged me off to go shopping))

"So another traveling companion?" Whiver asked, tilting his head. "Awesome. This is almost like one of those RPG games or something - getting struck by lightning is just the first quest!" he exclaimed with a laugh. Then, looking to the other as she took the water out of his clothes he let out a content sigh. Ahh, it felt nice to be dry. Of course, he's just going to get wet again.

"I would take the umbrella, but I'm a bit... big... for it, don't you think?" he asked, looking down to himself. "I mean, although it would cover me, I doubt it would cover you two as well."

Click! Something came to him. He never introduced himself! "Oh, uh, I'm Whiver by the way."

It was a pleasant surprise to be dry again and he took the opportunity to pat his pockets damn, he thought, cigarettes still soaked. “Well, I figure the umbrella can cover two of the three of us, and I'm sure either Whiver or myself wouldn't mind sharing with you, miss Rayn. As it is your umbrella it's only fair that you get to choose the lucky gentlemen yeah?” he grinned. Even under the umbrella he'd likely get waterlogged thanks to his 'gift'. At least this way he could get a gauge of both her and and Whiver.

"Oh, hi Whiver." She smiled at him. Rayn thought about what he said. I guess Whiver would be a little tall to fit all 3 of us. Suddenly a bubble of water flew towards Rayn and she reached right into it and pulled out a bigger umbrella. "Here you go Whiver." She smiled. "Hope this is big enough." She handed Whiver the bigger umbrella. "So Murphy, I guess you're the lucky one to share an umbrella with me." She subtly winked again to Murphy.

Whiver was a bit amazed by the woman's powers. It would be cool to be able to pull out an umbrella from electricity. However, Whiver then thought it might be a bit dangerous to use. Shrugging his shoulder at his thought, he gladly took the umbrella and held it to cover himself from the rain. It kept the rain off his back, at least.

"So, shall we continue on?" he asked as he tilted his head to the side.

Murphy grinned, interesting, she's a hydromancer. He filed the information away for future reference. Without complaint he stepped beneath the umbrella with Rayn, offering to carry it for the both of them. “Well then Miss Lyon, you seemed to have sidestepped my... concerns entirely. I'm impressed.” He nodded back to Whiver, “Well, to keep with the metaphor of an RPG, lead us onward to triumph, party leader.”

His other hand slipped back into his pocket and retrieved the small silver coin, toying with it as he stayed close to their lovely new companion. Yes, perhaps his luck was turning.

Rayn nodded at Whiver's request to continue on. When Murphy offered to carry the umbrella, Rayn smiled and allowed him to hold it. And Rayn happily followed Whiver and she agreed with both of their statements that this was in fact like a video game. Rayn also started to hover a little above the ground still staying below the umbrella.

Whiver walked on, carefully taking each step as not to trip over his own feet. Though, later getting tired of walking, he eventually tucked his legs up and let himself float along, carrying the umbrella just right in order to cover his entire body from the rain. Yes, this was much better.

He lead the small group of three towards the building and, when there, put his feet back onto the ground. Closing the umbrella, he quickly ducked and got himself through the door of the building.

Once inside, he looked around. The building looked pretty nice... But the real question was were there stairs? Of course there were stairs, what tall building wouldn't have stairs? So, the real question here was actually, in fact, where were the stairs.

He took care to keep the umbrella completely over Rayn, even it if meant his shoulder got wet again. “So Miss Lyon, have you been at the academy long? What do you study?” He tumbled the coin once, raising an eyebrow when it came up heads before pocketing it again. When Whiver entered the building he followed, pointing towards the elevator. “Well, we could give the elevator a go, though I wouldn't risk it in the storm, could end up trapped in there in the dark, alone for hours.” he winked back to Rayn before continuing. “If memory serves the fire stairs will be next to it. Think you've got the energy to hover up a few stories?"

"I've been here for a few months now. And I don't really have a major yet." When they entered the building she smiled.

"They should be near the elevator

"But i guess another question is where is the elevator..."

Whiver scoffed a bit. He could hover up a few flights, but did he want to waste that energy? Not particularly. "I can definitely walk up a few stairs." Looking to where Murphy had pointed, he nodded. A quick scan of that area and he had found the stairs. He did not even hesitate to walk over, open the door, and duck through.

Whiver was glad that the fire stairs was a mostly hollow room with just stairs going up. He didn't want to have to duck down the whole way up, after all. "Alright, let's get going!" he said as he started climbing up carefully.
