A quick glance at the building and Murphy nodded, “I guess we could give it a try at least. I mean, as far as I can tell the headmistress of the school pretty much runs the island anyways.” He fought off a shiver as another gust of wind made the storm intensify momentarily. “Wouldn't mind getting the hell out of the rain anyways, after you Whiver.”

His right hand slid back into his pocket and grabbed the coin that lay within. Habitually he gave it a toss into the air and caught it in his left. Heads again, huh. As they moved he tried to think of some small talk, a skill he'd not really taken the time to hone. “So does man created electricity give you less charge? Or I mean, does it, for lack of a better term, taste different?”

A small snort of laughter was Murphy's only response as he shouldered the door open into the office building. “So do you subsist only on energy, or do you have to eat and drink as well?” He gave a nod to the secretary and strode past as if he belonged there, hoping the confidence would let them just slip by to the elevator. She didn't really seem to pay him much attention at least, hopefully she wouldn't freak out at the giant with him.

Rayn was walking in the rain and, believe it or not, Rayn was causing the rain. She enjoyed the pitter patter, the feel and how it matched her attitude. Rayn was just walking, not having a destination nor not having a quest just... walking. Rayn being able to control water just places more and more water in the atmosphere keeping it to rain all she wants.

She was walking past a few stores with her head down and when she looked up, to her surprise there were people walking on the same side of the road as her. One a little taller than her and the other, shorter than her. Both of them looked soaked.... very soaked. Rayn, walking with an umbrella..... and being made out of water, decided to speak to them.

"Hey, wouldn't people normally be in a house during a storm like this?" She asked them and slightly tilted her head "And here," she handed them her umbrella, "I think you need this more than I do."

Murphy gave a small snort of laughter. “Yeah, though I suppose a heavier rain gives ya a better chance at being struck by lightning right?” He paused as they were hailed by a woman in the distance, slowing just a little behind Whiver. “Someone you know?” he muttered as she drew closer. He pocketed his coin again and slumped up against a wall, perfectly willing to let his new friend do the talking.

"Oh, struck.... as in lightning?" She pleasantly smiled and tilted her head. "I'd have to say... that's a first I've heard of someone wanting to get struck by lightning voluntarily." She stuck out her hand. "My name is Rayn Lyon, pleasure to meet you." Rayn then closed the umbrella and let her hair down. "And I have to agree with you two, the rain does feel good, or I'm just guessing considering how much you guys are soaked."

"So you're going to a high building..... I guess that's a start to getting struck by lightning."

Murphy shook his head, “Nah, I'm already soaked, no point in using an umbrella now. Pretty sure I'm in for a case of pneumonia anyways.” He gave a brief nod to Rayn, “Name's Murphy, pleasure's all ours miss Lyon, or is it missus?” With introductions out of the way he gave her a once over. Her skill was pale, though unlike his which was a sickly pale, hers was an even egg white that made her almost seem to glow in the rain. Yeah, definitely better scenery here than back home. “Wanna come along and see if we can wrangle a thunderbolt?”

Rayn nodded. "Sure, I guess I don't really have anything better to be doing at the moment." She smiled and lightly winked at Murphy and then looked ahead. "So, which building are we going to?" Rayn put her umbrella up. "Oh and I can help you with your wet clothes problem." Rayn made her hand into a fist and the water from his clothes went to her hand in a spherical orb. "Would you like to share an umbrella with me?"
