This situation could end up one of two ways: they find out that it was a way to get people to buy their cheese or it was some kind of trap they were walking into. Jake had his suspicion that an alien race of goopy cheese creatures would abduct and probe them, maybe even eat them (he read way to many comic books). Either way, he thought it would be best for the werewolf cop to go first; not that he was scared or anything, because he wasn't and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying - sort of. He had no idea what was going on but he was starting to get hungry now, so what's the harm with going to a fondue place?

"And I'm Jake," he introduced himself to the cop; of course Victor already knew his name. Did this guy have a plan or any idea of who this 'Inky' guy was? Jake decided not to question him and just follow him anyway.

"I'll want to see that blog later." He could probably look it up. An unlikely lead was better than no lead at all, he supposed. "Anyway, this could be dangerous." He sniffed the air a few times. They didn't smell like 'Inky.' He decided to operate under the tenuous assumption that they were telling the truth. "I admire you two for wanting to help stop... whatever this is. And I will probably want to have a chat with you about this later. Police paperwork, you know."

They reached the fondue place. Rafa stopped outside.

"Ok. Before I go in - do either of you have any powers that could be useful? I'm a werewolf, obviously, and I have Inky's scent."

"Uh, sure, I guess," Victor said. it had to be police procedure to investigate any possible links.

He listened to the officer speak as they went to the fondue place. Ugh, paperwork. "I don't think we could've just stood by and watched as it happens."

Outside the building, Victor thought about his power. it'd be considered useful. "I can stop time."

"Well, I'm like you," he gestured to the cop. "Hightened senses, speed, strength and all that, including the whole shifting into a wolf thing; which I am in complete control of, by the way." He liked to remind people that, even if it wasn't entirely true.

"Oh, I also dream the future and sense people's emotions," Jake added. Those were two powers he wished he didn't have, even though they have had their uses. They meant that he got little to no sleep and invaded people's privacy inintentionally.

"Alright," Rafa said. He stared at the entrance for a moment, thinking. "So, here's the plan. Jake, you keep your nose vigilant for Inky's scent. Howl if you notice him, or anything else suspicious. Stay near the entrance so he has to pass you on the way in or out, and keep an eye on the patrons. Victor, you stay with him, and back him up. I'll go back and check out the employees. I'll howl if I need you."

Mostly, Rafa just wanted to keep the boys out of harm's way. He was sure the real danger would be in the employees area. But it made sense for them to cover more ground, and splitting themselves up like this should work the best.

"Sound like a good plan?"

"It sounds good to me." Victor nodded as he listened to the plan. As a gamer, he understood the strategy. The Veteran muscle would control the main battlefield -Victor hoped it didn't come to that- while the Surveillance and Support take out stragglers. Thus minimizing damage to both parties.

Frankly, he would have preferred to be with Rafael. He had a good memory, and if needed, could search the entire building in seconds. He opened his mouth, considering to tell the Officer this, but didn't, closing it again. He didn't want to overstep.

Jake wasn't sure what 'vigilant' meant, but he was going to try his hardest to do it. He also didn't know whether the cop meant to literally howl if he suspected anything or not. However, he trusted the guy's plan - he probably did that sort of thing often - and nodded.

Leaning his back and one foot against the wall, Jake watched for anyone passing by. He tried to look natural and blend in, but he didn't own a phone to pretend he was texting on and he didn't smoke, so why else would he be stood outside of a place? He came to the conclusion that he would be a crap spy. In the end, he just folded his arms.

Raphael gestured for Jake to follow him, as soon as he realized they weren't.

"Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant, come in and wait inside by the entrance. Tell the hostess you're waiting for a bigger group or something. That way you can have eyes on the customers."

With that straightened out, Raphael walked into the restaurant and spoke to the hostess. In a low voice, he told her that he was here on police business and needed to speak to management as soon as possible.

Once again, Jake felt like an idiot. Following him inside seemed like the better option so he did so, waiting by the entrance. He watched as the cop walked into the place and then turned his attention to the customers. Sniffing, he tried to catch the scent of the guy who wrote the note, only to be overwhelmed by the smell of pizza - damn, it smelt good. He also couldn't feel any emotion that was out of place in joint like that.
