"Did you ever make any uniquely shaped ones? Like stars? Or hearts? I would make stars all the time and hang them on my ceiling for as long as I could. Can you make them glow in the dark?"

Maddie cupped her hands and buried her face into them to see if the gems glowed at all.

Malvoes would nod, "I can, I try to mix up the shapes once in a while." He'd raise an eyebrow, the gems shifting to form stars, and start to give a faint glow. Watching the girl cup them over her face.

Like the child she was, Maddie reeled back and gave a delighted fit of laughter at the glowing, star shaped gems. It was just all too grand. She began sticking them to her clothes of her hair, anywhere she could manage without them falling off.

"I wanna be able to make these!"

He'd chuckle, "Yeah, they'd make great accessories and decorations, too bad that don't stay when away from me for too long." He'd take a drink, with a large genuine smile, seeing someone so excited with what he can do was refreshing. She was adorable in that sense, she brought joy and excitement to new levels and it was absolutely infectious. "I'd be a billionaire."

Maddie attempted to balance one of them on her nose, like a school kid with a pencil. She giggled when it tumbled down and onto her lap.

"You would be the best at charades. Like, literally the charades master. Should I start calling you that? Should that be your contact in my phone? Charades master? I think it should!"

She whipped out her phone, tapping away.

He'd chuckle softly, "You know that is a surprisingly accurate name for me, I would be great at charades." This was not the reason he thought it was a great name, that would be because the true natures of his powers, which related very well to the definition of charade. He'd watch her tap away, charades master, nice ring to it actually. Master of charade, illusionist supreme, Malvoes the magnificent, now he sounds like his uncle.

The moment she was done adding a different name to his contact on her phone, she put it in her pocket and slammed her hands on the table as she stood.

"Hey!" was it ever mentioned that Maddie was both easily impressed and easily distracted? Well, he knew now. "How fast can you run? We should race! I think this coffee has me all crazy."

He'd jump slightly from her outburst. "Like around 35 miles per hour, um, are you even supposed to have coffee?" He was worried this girl had a bit too much caffeine, there was a chance she was kept from it, by her sister or a parent if not by the cafeteria.

"Some people aren't allowed to have coffee?" Maddie asked, perplexed. Her eyes went wide. Was that seriously a thing? She was pretty sure she was allowed to have coffee. She had never been stopped from having it.

She waved this line of thinking off and shook her head. "We should race, or play tag. Gosh, I love tag! Don't you just love tag?"

Maybe she had had too much caffeine. She was talking much faster than before and her hands were jittering.

"Well, not necessarily, just just some people can't handle caffeine all that well so they avoid it." He was slightly worried about her, being a naturally caring person he was. Maybe she was just extra hyper, due to the coffee, perhaps she'd burn it off if they did something active.

He'd wave his hand, turning the crystals into petals, dispelling them, smiling at her. "I'd love to play tag or race with you, it sounds like fun."
