He soon found her, not that it was hard when she was bawing her eyes out. He listened as he found the tree branch she sat in he started to climb up. Pulling himself onto the branch he settled himself so he wouldnt fall and pulled her to him, trying to comfort her somehow.

He hadnt expected this and some part of his mind suggested it wasnt just what he said.

"Its ok..."

Jennifer's eytes snapped open as and she leaned away, wiping her eyes.

"I... We all were affected dearly by our parents recent deaths, and Daddy used to always joke around about my size, and.... and.... When they died... I felt as if the world went into black and white because everything seemed duller since mom and dad..."

She stopped to wipe her eyes and hope Seth wouldn't care. She blushed and wiped her face as she put one hand on the trunk.

"Sorry for acting like a baby..."

He looked at her, face a sad smile. He listened to her silently, letting her say what she wanted. When she finished he ruffled her hair and looked at the ground for a moment.

"Well...I hope you wouldnt mind, but caves no longer sound as interesting as something extremely sugary..."

Looking at her he finished.

"Care to join?"

Jennifer wiped her eyes and smiled.

"I'd like that."

She said, looking around to see if any of the shadows were still around. She wasn't about to walk half a mile to the Academy with a bunch of shadows following her.

None of the shadows seemed to move, he rasied an eyebrow as she looked for any.

"Spooked? "

He asked and reached up to help her down.
