Please put in your nominations for the monthly Spotlights! Nominations will remain open until the 14th of the month, at which point voting will open based on your nominations! Need some suggestions or guidelines on what to look for in each category? Check out The Complete Guide to Contests.

Winners get a special banner under their avatar, can claim a medal, and can PM Kyros during their month for a special cbox name color! They also get a super cool writeup recognizing their accomplishments in our monthly announcements.

Members of the staff team cannot be nominated for Member Spotlight unless they have not already won once in the past. Members who are currently spotlight winners are not eligible to be nominated in any category.

The Current Spotlight Winners Are:

All nominations should include full names, and include a link to the player/character's profile.

(Example: Cordelia Moore, not Cordelia; PepsiCo, not Pepsi etc)​

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: A new member with some interesting chars and a friendly face in the cbox.

Character Spotlight: Box

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Because for someone whose whole being revolves around being an insulting ass, there's a suprising amount of depth to them.

Member Spotlight: @Javi D'Arcana

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: It's always exciting seeing a new member who takes to the site like a duck to water, and Javi's certainly done just that. They've got a bunch of plots, a bunch of characters, and they're making their way on the site excellently! They just hit 100 posts (always a fun milestone), and I'm excited to see what else they do on the site!

Character Spotlight: Sapphire

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Sapphire is a real pleasure to be around. She's a kid who acts like a kid, and despite her seriously tragic backstory still enjoys life. Her present for Valli was well chosen and adorable, and she's always fun to see in the ICC.

@Silver

Silver is a returning member who continuously brings back enthusiasm and ideas to drive plots forward each time she returns to SA. She is a wonderful presence in the cbox and is always willing to share her knowledge, experiences, and stories with others.

@Schrodinger's Cat 's Marcus Warke .

As a former library worker, i have always loved book-related powers, but they're often difficult to apply to a roleplay setting. Marcus's powers have that great ink-heart feel that makes pulling things out of books so much fun, and they still have a unique flavor that is easy to interact with other player characters.

Member Spotlight: beloved

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Beloved has been a friendly and playful member, who's kindness and plots are a gift to the site and everyone involved. I'm proud to RP with her and proud to call her friend.

Character Spotlight: Klef

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Klef is a fun and mischievous character, who tends to hide and push emotions aside, it makes for great plots, and the friendships a character makes with her can be truly heartwarming once they get to know her.
