Please put in your nominations for the monthly Spotlights! Nominations will remain open until the 14th of the month, at which point voting will open based on your nominations! Need some suggestions or guidelines on what to look for in each category? Check out The Complete Guide to Contests.

Winners are granted a special banner under their avatar, and can claim a medal based on their win! They also get a super cool write-up recognizing their accomplishments in our monthly announcements.

Members of the staff team cannot be nominated for Member Spotlight unless they have not already won once in the past. Members who are currently spotlight winners are not eligible to be nominated in any category.

The Current Spotlight Winners Are:

All nominations should include full names, and include a link to the player/character's profile.

(Example: Cordelia Moore, not Cordelia; PepsiCo, not Pepsi etc)​

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Kyrii is making such an active effort to plot with people and talk with people. I find it admirable and feel it's worth a call out.

Why you think they deserve the spotlight:
Javi D'Arcana is an active and engaging roleplayer who has made an effort to involve themselves in numerous threads to help roll the plots of other players forward.

Character Spotlight: Caleb Howle

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: While "go big or go home" is certainly a way to pick powers for a character, Caleb Howle catches the eye with subtle and unique powers that require not just the character's own constant thoughts to use, but also requires the creativity and mindfulness of the player to execute just right. Definitely something you don't see every day :)

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: A lot of interesting characters and good plots. She can be entertaining in icc as well.

Character Spotlight: Tez Gann
Why you think they deserve the spotlight: I like how much trouble this character causes even though he just wants to get along with everyone. He's fun to interact with.

Member Spotlight: @Schrodinger's Cat
Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Having never RPed with Schro before, I've been impressed by how they've been handling the conservation event. It's always difficult to balance players with very different power levels, but Schro's done a great job of staying on the ball with the event, and giving Marcus plenty to do.
Character Spotlight: Puppy
Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Do companions count for this? Sure, why not. This is one of the most riddiculous species I've ever seen and I was 100% sure Kath had made it up, but instead it turns out that backwards walking dogs that whistle like tea kettles are a thing people believe in IRL. It's adorable, and every time I've seen it I just end up going awwwww.

Member Spotlight: Kaya

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: Kaya is a great RP partner, they're friendly and always greets the newcomers with warmth. They have a great cast of characters that range from seductive to adorable, it's really great to RP with them, even greater being his friend.

Character Spotlight: Myrina

Why you think they deserve the spotlight: No one really expects an embodiment of gluttony and hunger to be adorable and cute, yet Lazzy pulled it off. She's such a fun character, clearly struggling a bit with adapting to a normal life and make friends, but she's starting to make friends and is doing well. I look forward to seeing more of her.
