Dorn was in a very good mood today, it had been calm and things had gone just as he wanted them to. He did not forget his medicin, not even once did he forget it actually. He was in a good spirit because the computer program he worked on was going very well with the help of Tech, it was going to be finished in no time now. Dorn had also tried to do some reading but for some reason he did not feel like doing that.

Right now the boy calmly walked down from the school, he was dressed in a pair of brown jeans, a red shirt and he had his normal shoes and the black belt. Dorn slowly stretched his arms over the head and yawned ever so slightly. It was going to be nice to be with James again, he really liked to be with the other boy very much. It was like just being with the boy made Dorn feel happy. He calmly thought about things the two of them could do in the city, he really did not have any idea what things one might find in this place. He had only been down here once before and that was a rather weird visit in the area of new clothes and a weird italian girl with high thoughts of herself.

Dorn stopped by a house and there he waited for James to turn up, it was not going to be hard to find this place since it was just after one left the ground of the school itself. He was curious to know how James day had been, they did not go to the same class since Dorn after all was a little older.

James wandered slowly down the road from the school, checking his watch every now and then to make sure he wouldn't be too early or too late. He was wearing his glasses today, tired of the headaches his contacts still gave him, and as a result his bangs were pulled back by a haphazard collection of bobby pins to keep them from dangling over his glasses. Occasionally a lock of hair would work its way loose and fall in his eyes, and every time that happened, he'd have to work his hand out of the too-long sleeve of his thermal tee and fasten it down again with another pin. He was beginning to work up quite a collection.

He was nervous. Dorn was the only person at the school who'd really shown an interest in him, and now he'd asked him to come to the city for an evening, which would be fantastic if he knew what he was supposed to do or say to him once he got there. He wasn't used to having a friend, and while he felt comfortable when he was actually around Dorn, when he wasn't the thought of talking to him left him with butterflies fluttering in his stomach.

He stopped stock still, suddenly realizing that they hadn't exactly decided where to meet. Or, worse yet, what if Dorn had told him where to meet him, but he'd been so nervous he'd for gotten? He pulled his cellphone out to call him, remembering that he didn't know his number and putting it away reluctantly. What if Dorn was waiting somewhere for him right now, and he didn't know why he wasn't there already? James quickened his pace, and by the time he passed the school's gates he was almost jogging. He paused, glancing around to try to decide which road to take, eyes finally resting on a familiar figure about ten yards away.

"Dorn!" He waved one arm above his head to get the other boy's attention, lightly jogging the distance between them and stopping a few feet away. "Hey," he smiled, suddenly shy again. "Am I late?"

Dorn examined his own shoes as he heard the familiar voice that he liked so much and his eyes moved up and he noticed James coming towards him in a light jogging. The boy smiled back at him and waved his hand in return, then he followed him with the eyes until James was standing closer to him. "Hello there Jamie boy" he greeted back with a bright smile on his face.

He then shook his head slightly. "No not at all really, I was early to be honest. But I have something that might help us a little in the future." he reached into one of his pockets and picked out his cellphone and waved it a little back and forth. "Better take each others numbers don´t you agree?" he looked at the phone for a moment and then back to James. "So how was your day big guy?" he asked him happily, it was a good start before going on to the main things, what they should do! Dorn had gotten a few ideas and one of them was to see a movie, eat something and maybe just do something random like....well have a look around the city to get to know it better, and of course get to know each other better.

Dorn really felt good when he was with James, it was like it just made him happy to be around the younger boy, well he could not say that really since it could not be more then a year between then and that was not very much at all. He had been doing some thinking over the matter and he thought that the best he would do would be to see what happened, he had gotten a great friend after all and did not want to lose him.

"Good idea," he agreed, slipping his cellphone out of his pocket and handing it to Dorn for him to input his number. "I was actually just thinking the same thing..." He stopped, not wanting Dorn to know about his miniature freak-out a few minutes ago.

He finished adding his number, handing the cellphone back to Dorn and drawing his hands back into his sleeves again. "Good. Quiet. No one tried to talk to me." And, as a result, he hadn't accidentally broken anything or began to levitate. The best days were when people left him alone, and he had no chance to make a fool of himself. He grinned, asking after a moment: "How was your day, big guy?"

He fell silent along with Dorn, scanning the streets and trying to figure out which way they should walk. "You've been here before - what's fun? What do you want to do?" He had no idea what Dorn had planned for the evening, if anything. What exactly did you do on a whatever this was?

Dorn accepted the phone from James and calmly began to list his number inside of it. "Yeah I thought you might have thought about it to" he commented calmly as his blue eyes calmly looked down at the phone, when he was done he smiled a little as he handed it back to James. "There Jamie boy, now you have my number and you can call me anytime you want. If you need someone to talk to or if you need halp with something do not hesitate to give me a call. Okey?" the smile became a slight grin and then he lowered the hand as he had give then phone to to boy. He was serious about what he said, James was after all someone Dorn had come to like very much, so he wanted the boy to know that he was there if he needed help.

Dorn listened to him as he said it had been good, and guiet and without anyone that talked to him? The older boy could not help but actually wonder if James was so happy just being on his own, well he did not seem to mind being around Dorn and that little fact made him happy actually. "Well good then that you had a good day Jamie." he made a pause and thought about the question that he asked in return, the boy smiled a little in an amused way because of that way James asked it. Big boy? Well he had asked the same but it was still rather fun to hear the words coming from James. "Well it was nothing to interesting, I have worked on my little project and then I actually did not forget to take my medicin today. See I was a good boy to do that." he laughed a little and ruffled his own hair. "I also read a little, other then that it was nothing." he made a pause as he thought about what to say, then he nodded a little befire he talked again. "I actually missed you Jamie" he moved some hair with a gesture.

He thought of the question James asked of where they should go and all that. "Well I can imgine you must be hungry? We could go eat something, and then we could maybe see if we could catch a movie. Might be something interesting goin right now." he then frowned a little. "So what do you think about that idea Jamie? Sounds good?" he asked then and moved the blue eyes so that he was looking right at James.

"Ah... I will." He tucked the phone back into his pocket, a little embarrassed for reasons he didn't entirely understand. "And.. If you need help with something... I probably couldn't do much. But you can call me, anyway." He couldn't think of a problem that Dorn would need his help with, but it seemed like the right thing to say.

"Wouldn't that be dangerous?" He wondered, glancing up at Dorn curiously. "I mean, forgetting to take your medicine. Since you..." He gestured vaguely at his chest, vague concern on his face. Dorn seemed like the kind of person who would forget to take his medicine, even if it might have a dire effect on his health.

He missed him? Jamie went bright red, ducking his head in embarrassment. The gesture didn't work as well when he didn't have any hair to hide behind, and he shifted his gaze to the side, instead. He wasn't used to people even acknowledging his existence, let alone missing him when he wasn't around. He had no idea what to say in response. "...Thanks," he finally mumbled, looking anywhere but towards Dorn.

"Dinner and a movie? Sounds like a date." He giggled at the thought, skipping a step to match Dorn's stride. "It's a good plan, though. I haven't been to a movie in a while."

Dorn nodded at the boys words when he said that Dorn could call him to. "Yeah I will remember that Jamie" he said to this and moved some of his hair away from the face with a gesture of his hand, he was honest when he said that actually, he was going to call James if he had some problem sometimes. To show the boy that he really did want to trust him and get closer to him. Often Dorn just talked to Nikki when he had a problem but it could be nice to have someone more to talk with to.

He smiled a little at James question if it was dangerous, he nodded again and sighed a little. "Yeah I know that it is dangerous, I have to take the medicin and I do, I must have made it sound as if I do not take it....well I forget to take it at the right times but I always rememebr it quickly after so no real harm. Nothing to worry about." he explained carefully. "and I have my friends to always remind me about to take it."

Dorn noticed his reaction and he tilted his head to the side, then he thought about what he said and his cheeks turned slight red as he scratched himself in the back of the head. He smiled a little as James said thanks, but it was an embarrassed smile. "Yeah, well....your welcome Jamie" he replied and did his best to sound as himself, he sighed a little and then his eyes turned so that he looked around on the buildings around them.

To the last part Dorn blushed a little more and he quickly brushed one hand though his hair, yeah it had sounded like that actually. He smiled a little in a stupid way and then he glanced over at James. "Well I am sure we will find some nice movie. But we better eat first, I know one person here that is hungry anyway." he laughed a little as he said this and then he once again returned to look around for some place they could eat at. He found a small place with rather simple food from the look of things, yeah that place looked rather nice. "What you think about that place Jamie boy? Could be nice right?" he made a gesture towards the one he had noticed and then he waited to see what James though about the idea.

"Good," he said, relaxing a bit. "I wouldn't want you to... you know. Anything to happen." He trained his gaze at his scuffed shoes, uncomfortable with telling Dorn he was worried about him but still wanting him to know. "Just don't ever forget or anything, okay?"

Dorn got all embarrassed and shy, which instantly made Jamie even more embarrassed and awkward. "I meant... I'm just not used to people missing me or anything." He paused, stumbling over his words. "So... Thanks. For hanging out with me. And missing me." He nudged Dorn's arm with his shoulder, a rare display of physical affection.

"I'm hungry, don't worry." He mumbled, distracted by scanning the menu posted in the window of the restaurant. "Could be... Yeah, it looks good." He pulled open the door for Dorn, grinning politely.

Dorn smiled at James and nodded once more as he asked him to promise to never forget the medicin. "I promise I will not forget the medicin." he said and he was honest, he did not want to die even if he hates the stupid pills he had to take all the time. He could live with them, but did not want to die away from the people he loved. "Your very sweet to worry about me."

The boy then listened to what James said when he tried to explaine himself, Dorn smiled at little and scaratched himself on the back of the hand as he listened. Dorn felt warm when James thanked him for the things and then nudged his arm with his shoulder. "Your welcome, I should thank you for wanting to hang out with me to, and that you worry about me of course, thank you Jamie" he replied softly.

His eyes turned to the meny to and yeah it looked nice when he read from that to, he gave James a friendly grin as the boy pulled up the door for him. "Thank you" he said with a polite but rather teasing tune in his voice before he walked into the building, he began to search around for a good table they could use and noticed a one for two down at one of the windows. "Cool, we can see the sea from over there" he said happily and walked over to the table he talked about, it was not to many people in at the moment but a few was sitting a little here and there minding there own things and doing. Dorn thought he would return the favor so he pulled out a chair for James and gave the boy the same kind of polite grin he himself had used at the door. When James had taken his seat Dorn would sit down himself on the other chair. Now the thing was what they should eat and he looked around to see if there was anyone working at this place that could like...give them a meny.

"Sweet?" He laughed in spite of himself, fingertips briefly poking out of sleeves to cover his mouth. "That's the first time I've ever been called that."

He nodded, suddenly wondering why it was, exactly, that he liked to be around Dorn. It was something he wasn't used to, actually wanting to be around another person. It was uncharacteristic of him to be so comfortable around someone else, to allow himself to relax as much as he did. He was never lonely by himself - in fact, he greatly preferred solitude to crowds, and yet the idea of being around Dorn was always pleasant. Dorn was just different, that was all. He didn't expect anything from Jamie, like interesting conversation or lightening quick wit.

James grinned at Dorn and sat down, attention immediately captured by the beautiful view from the window. He was silent for a few minutes, and then "It's weird," he said suddenly, breaking from his reverie somewhat and fiddling with the silverware, eyes still trained on the sea. "Having the ocean... everywhere. I'd never seen it before I came here."
