It was the morning after he had started staying in the guest room of Celeste's house, somehow it seemed that the Black Wings did not locate him and had moved on for now. Since he was feeling a lot better, he knew he had to train to get back into fighting shape, but if he did it with Celeste around he knew that she would not be happy with him. As soon as the girl went into the bathroom in the morning he threw on his Elven boots and was out the door, he was just going to run around the block to loosen up his body and then he would come back before she even known he was gone.

Ain breathed a bit, and started jogging down the street as many of the people started their days and didn't take much notice of him. He still was wearing the clothes that was too small for him but he didn't let it bother him too much, he would need to somehow get some new clothes that would fit him. As he jogged he saw a small children's park with a bunch of open space, he was going to keep going but decide to stop as he could use this.

The park had some swings and a playground fort on the right side, a basketball court and a small soccer field on the left and trees on the outer perimeter. He looked around and saw no one around, which was good so he could go all out for a bit. He began jogging the perimeter of the park, weaving through them as he gained speed, getting faster and faster as he circled the park once. 'I'm think I'm starting to feel-' Ain thought as he felt a jolt of pain on his next step that caused him to trip over a branch and tumble ten feet into a tree.

Ouch.

He felt like he might have dislocated his shoulder on the impact of the tree and might have sprained his ankle, as he flipped over on the ground and sat next to the tree, he held his shoulder in a bit of pain. CRAP. When Celeste find out he did this she will, uh, he didn't really know but he was expecting something.

Ria was exhausted, and there were bags under her eyes as she walked along the street way too early in the morning. Ria was still wearing her human charm, since her shift had just ended. She had mostly waited tables tonight so Ria was beyond exhausted from all the interaction with the customers. Thankfully she didn't have lectures the next day so after checking on Jii Ria could just fall into bed and not rise until Jii came to wake her up.
Ria was infinitely thankful she had almost enough saved up to undo Jii's deaging curse. Ria was definitely not ready to handle a child, she was much too young and emotionally immature to offer Jii a good upbringing.
Ria turned to another street, taking a shortcut through the residential areas. It was like a maze but even a maze could be a shortcut if you knew the way. And Ria did. She turned onto another street and then another and another. Her turns seemed random, but she had a clear map in her mind she was following.

Ria was just walking past a smallish childrens park when she heard some sounds. It wasn't anything special, since there had been many early risers or late workers Ria had walked past. But out of reflex she turned her head to look at the person running a lap around the park area. At a decent speed, no less. And he was still speeding up. But then he went and tripped right over, rather flashily, and collided with a tree.
Ria was over the low fence circling the park very fast and she ran over to the man. He was holding his shoulder, and Ria was not blaming him. That fall had looked painful. Ria stopped few meters away and crouched down a bit, observing the man with steady and collected gaze.
"That fall looked rather painful. Do you need any help?"
Ria's tone was serious and analytical, as she scanner the man for possible injuries.

This was a mistake, he still needed more rest and what did he do but make things worse with his impatience. He did get hurt a lot during missions in the past due to his inability to gauge what is dangerous and what he can handle with his skills. Was he going to just keep getting hurt all the time on this island going forward.

Ain had closed his eyes from the bits of pain, he didn't notice that anyone was even there let alone speak to him so suddenly. His eyes shot open and he saw the girl, the girl had blond hair and purple eyes, being a bit wary he hesitated a bit before nodding that he needed help though he wasn't really sure how she would help him or even if she was capable of helping him. Luckily she was far enough away that she wasn't in his aura of about ten feet, it remained to be seen if she could even get close to him.

The man looked like he was in pain, but surprisingly he didn't let out any sounds. Roa could respect that, as she never enjoyed showing signs of weakness. Although Ria was actively trying to change that.
The man simply nodded when Ria asked him if he needed help, Ria quirked an eyebrow for a bit but didn't question why the man didn't talk. If he wished to stay silent he had the right to do so.
Ria took a step closer but then something hit her. Suddenly she felt fear, real raw fear, towards the man before her. Ria frowned and all her Pixan senses and nature screamed at her to run, to get away from this man. But, as always, Ria fought them back and refused to move from where she stood. She observed the man, still frowning, and took another step closer to she was close enough to reach out and touch him is she wished to. Through pure willpower Ria forced herself to stay calm and not shake.
"What is this effect? Do you have an aura of some kind, or do I have a genuine reason to not trust you and flee?"
Ria's tone was leaning slightly towards demanding, and she wasn't exctly glaring at the man but her gaze wasn't exactly trusting either. She was now distrustful of this person, but Ria was like that with near everyone.

Ain had watched as the girl approached him and entered his aura, the pause between getting up to him was noted as she was clearly affected by his aura. His violet eyes moved to her frown, and then to her pretty purple eyes.

The question came as no surprise, but she did not run and had actually inched closer to ask it intrigued him. Each person that was affected by it had acted differently-- Noel seemed only to get sad by the fear, Ebbie went almost defensive about it, Sterling seemed to tolerate it, and as he found some just weren't effected by it at all like Zoraida and Celeste. This girl was hit by it and from what he could tell was indeed sent the instinct to run, but defied it and pushed forward with a rarely seen willpower.

He nodded when she mentioned aura, and shrugged whether she had reason to not trust him and flee.

Continuing to hold his left shoulder, he also looked to his ankle on his right leg that was a bit twisted, possibly a sprain.

Ria lifted a brow at the man's answers to her questions, continuing to fight back the fear still churning inside of her. Was he not capable of speaking, or did he just wish to stay silent? Depending in either option Ria was not sure of this. But she was now involved, and did not want to allow herself to back down now that she had offered the man help. So she nodded as well and followed the man's gaze to his right ankle. Ria had experienced enough injuries to recognize a sprain, and it looked to be a relatively bad one. She looked at the man's build, she would be able to support him in her human form. But that would put strain on his already injured shoulder and ankle. In her Pixan form Ria would be able to carry the man, avoiding making the injuries worse. Ria was also that much physically stronger in her Pixan form.
Ria would just let the man decide.
"It seems you are either incapable or not willing to speak, so show one finger for the first option and two for the second. First option, I support you and escort you home, but you must walk on your own because in my human form I do not have the strength to carry you. Second option, I turn into my original form in which I have greater strength, and I carry you. I would recommend second option, as it's more efficient and will not bring any extra strain to your injuries. But I can see how some people, especially males, can see that option as humiliating. But I will leave it to you to decide."

Ain raised an eyebrow at the options the girl put forth, it was clear that she was not going to let fear stop her from helping him, was she perhaps a really nice person. Everything thing she said was filled with excellent logic and he knew that they were the only options if he was to accept help from her. It was true that he might have been more reluctant to take this route, but he never putr much stock in pride.

There was another possible problem, not with the plan but the word home that she said, did he now think that his home was with Celeste... it was perhaps too early to decide that. There was no way that Celeste would allow him to stay past his injury, right?

The thought was shaken off both mentally and with a physical shake of his head, then without hesitation he raised two fingers in a peace sign. What did it matter if a girl had to carry him, maybe better if no one saw it though.

Ria waited, maybe a bit impatiently, as the man thought of his options. Ria had no preference over neither option, although the second one would get her back to the dorms and into bed quicker.
But this man's well-being came first.
And as he lifted two fingers in a peace sign Ria sighed from relief internally. Outwards she nodded and stood up. She slipped her charm off and quickly Ria was 3.3ft tall. Her clothes had shrunk with her, and she was basically a miniature version of her human form with large animal-like ears, short light blue fur and other small animalistic features. She put her charm in her bag and turned to look at the man, setting her hands on her hips.
"As it seems you are nearly twice my height when I'm in this form I suggest I carry you in my arms. However, you might find that unpleasant, so my back is sufficient, if not a bit tricky, as well. Again, one finger for arms, two for back. I propose you choose swiftly, because the longer you wait more painful those injuries will be."
Ria was completely in her logival mindset, as it was also one lf the ways to fight against the fear that now somehow felt slightly more intense. Ria suspected it was because she had transformed into her original form. Ria's coating was still invisible on her skin but she knew, that if she let her control go for even a second the coating would turn visible and possibly hurt the man.

Ain blinked when the girl shrunk to much smaller size, a furry petite girl with big ears that were larger than his elf ears; She was cute looking in that state but you would never hear him say so. He was never one to judge non-humans, in fact in a way he always felt most comfortable with those that were weird and was never quite connected to his Elven brethren.

He noted that she was always to the point, no non-sense, and took things on logically by going over the facts. A girl like this was probably someone he would get along with if could hold a conversation. She gave the next plan in short order, and even warned him to not take too long.

He kind of like how decisive she was and smiled a bit, he quickly raised one finger this time to choose the first option and waited for her to lift him up. Truth be told he could probably stumble back on his own but that would risk further injury, he had been helped a lot lately...

Ria was honestly confused when the man smiled, though slightly, despite the fact that he was hurt and by normal standards Ria was being rude to him. And he decided on the first option, which meant Ria would carry him in her arms. This was...surprising as well. But Ria did not let these feelings show, or much less take greater presence in her mind, as the feeling of fear was still dominant and Ria was desperately fighting it back. Her coating, if you looked closely enough, was flashing greyish blue here and there but Ria still had the worst under control, and she was getting used to it. She nodded and without hesitation stepped into a position where she could lift the man with ease. But before she did...
"I must warn you, I have layer of protective magic covering my body, a ctoating of sorts. It won't hurt you, I won't let it, but you might feel a tingly or heavy sensation where it makes contact with you. I will give you this chance to back down ifthis makes you uncomfortable."
